You can...if you troll under a different account. ;)you cant bump a locked thread, you cant edit a post in a locked thread (contrary to Crete's lies) and you cant ever like or dislike your own posts.
McElwain IMO.
From a recruiting and PR standpoint, he was Chernobyl (on the heels of Three Mile Island).
I agree and yet Chimp only destroyed the offense and yet still left a very thin amount of talent (ie 3 four star QBs, some 4 stars at WR and RB.) McElstank left dumpster trash. My answer is Muschamp. We’ve never recovered from that colossal mistake that set the program back 10 years.

Build it and they will come. The kids and the coaches.
Foley is a joke. That "we're not getting in an arms race" was all you needed to know. The reverence that some people give him is undeserved. He rode the wave of a population boom and SOS to do things a monkey could've done. He gets way too much credit and not enough blame by a lot of Gator fans. I'll give him Billy D but not much else.
That hurts, I am a lifetime Cincinatti Reds Fan. I route for currently what is the worst team in the majors.Yeah the Florida Marlins and Cincinnati Reds use the same method, except there was a recession and none of the Bammers or Yankees of the world were affected innthe slightest.
Choosing not to compete and the resultant 1/2 to 3/4 empty stadium creates a recession for the slumlord teams every year.
One reason that the baseball stadium was built facing into the sun was that the left field fence used to be just a hill that served as a poor man's fence. Moving the baseball stadium out of that crowded area to give football and baseball more room to expand is the best long term move.I'm in Hogtown for the weekend visiting old friends. Drove around the the campus and out to Paynes Prairie State Park (way cool) earlier in the day. What a flipping gorgeous day here.
The amount of cash being dumped into the campus and esp adjacent real estate (there's a housing monstosity going up in the old Student Ghetto) is mind blowing.
Somebody's got some deep pockets.
It's a shame the football facilities planning worked the way it did. That end of the campus has turned into a hodge podge of new facilities crammed on top of each other with really no place to go grow but up.
Jeez, they tore down the old Wilbert's across from the Law School. Asswipes.
You have to relocate the baseball stadium if you're going to add football facilities in any sort of logical way.One reason that the baseball stadium was built facing into the sun was that the left field fence used to be just a hill that served as a poor man's fence. I have also been driving around Gainesville today and discovered in horror that my favorite basketball court of all time at Hume Hall had been torn down for a freaking parking lot. Part of my youth gone forever.
