FSU going after a domestic abuser and this dumbass. They are desperate on the OL.

Was he not the one that had so many nickel and dime felony charges that Johnson said he couldn't plea out or take deferred prosecution? I'm almost positive he was.

I'm all for second chances, and being allowed to work your way back to a potentially promising future. But this kid was in the headlines at this point last year for massive counts of fraud. He should be walking on somewhere like FAU. Instead, a year later he's being treated like a celebrity all over again.

The damage we're doing to these kids and their perception of the world is immeasurable.

It's OK. The NFL will fix him. Or not.
Ugh.

Sorry to take a turn in the thread, but I hate the early signing period. I used to pick up on recruiting after the season, giving me 3 months to get up to speed. Now, I can’t get into it.

Recruitniks: which players are the most interesting/best that we have a shot with. I love big time DL recruits, and tend to follow them the closest. After that, I like the offensive weapons, because they are like Christmas Toys.

I don’t think we are pushing to hard for a QB, but if we are in play for a 5 or 4*, I’d love to know.

Any info would be loved. If you tell me to kick rocks and do my own work, I get it. But IMO the best sports in order are: 1) college football, 2) recruiting season; 3) spring football......................4) NCAA basketball.

Cheers.

Seemed he plead down.

Two ex-Florida Gators reach plea deal in credit card fraud scandal

"Former Florida Gator linemen Jordan Smith and Kadeem Telfort both accepted plea deals Friday from the credit card scandal that ensnared nine football players last season.

Both Telfort and Smith pled no contest to one third-degree felony charge of scheming to defraud, according to Alachua County court records. They each received two years of probation and must pay $521 in court costs.

Telfort initially faced 30 felony complaints."

Yeah he was buying potato chips from the vending machine. What do you want to do to him? Throw him in jail? The credit card company paid for all the charges so the owner never was out a dime, and this kid reimbursed the credit card company. Yes the CC owner was inconvenienced by having to call the cc company and getting a new card but in the end no economic harm was done. Throw in jail the ones the install skimmers at the gas stations or the hackers that obtain the cc #s.

Locksley was his primary, yes. Their rb coach was his secondary but idk what percentage you’d give either. but Bamas rb Coach is an old geezer so idk what kind of relationship they’d have together

So, what is he, like 40 or something?

I outlined exactly what should be done. There's a pretty substantial difference between jail time and being allowed to enjoy the recruiting process all over again. And as I said, we're only hurting them in the long run. Their warped sense of accountability is constantly on display at the next level.

I get what you are saying, but that’s not was really being said. The kid made bad choices, about 30 of them. It’s not so much that he’s a dangerous criminal. It’s that he’s a f’ing moron. You put that kid in Tally and all bets are off.

Coaches are also visiting Arjei Henderson today. If they’re confident they can clear him it would be a big get. Kid is a baller

Not saying Sanders will be one of them, but Locksley is going to land some guys, even this year, that he probably shouldn't. He's always been a ridiculous recruiter dating back to his Zook days here, and MD isn't a terrible sell. Whether or not he makes it as a HC is up in the air. But he'll load them up with talent and make it much tougher for everyone else to pull kids out of the DC/VaBch area.

Dorlus decommitted from VT.

Looks like it’ll be UF or Oregon.

He declares 12/19.

If we accept his commit they need to make sure he signs in December. Hopefully we get one of the 4-stars (Hunter, Handy, or Fuller) to go along w/ him. We need those big bodies after last year's DL class.

The kid really wanted to be a Gator. He was kicked out of school and off the team. He had to reimburse the cc company and pay court costs. He will be on probation for two years. He will be a felon the rest of his life and he will be treated like a second class citizen as far as jobs and renting an apartment is concerned. If people google him they will see reminders of how stupid he has been. If you don't think he suffered or will suffer you are sadly mistaken.
