4 star safety Avantae Williams, 27th overall on rivals, borderline 5 Star, is committed to Oregon. He visited yesterday at Florida and Luke Stampini doesnt believe at all his commitment sticks with them. Someone asked him if he thought it would and he responded “hahaha, no”.

I’d keep an eye out on this kid. English was with him for a huge portion of the day yesterday working him. Big flip potential
English? Please God no.... lol

Absolutely! AR's receivers and TEs are not very good where as Beck's are top notch. Plus AR is running for his life on every play. That being said, Beck is the better QB, I think. And all of this crap about Dan Mullen needs a running QB, remember what the man himself said, he likes a willing runner. He was not running Franks every other play. He recognizes that the primary skill of a QB is passing and that running is gravy. You don't want your QB to be stealing a lot of carries from your RBs because then you will not be getting too many top shelf RBs.

No he did not drop him. He told him we was going to recruit a second QB. Matt did not take it very well. If he wanted to drop him he would have just called him. Instead he went and visited him and talked with Matt and his father.

And yet he is recruiting Beck rather vigorously, so no matter what he has run in the past, he wants this QB.

If Beck is going to play baseball at UF and football, it will count as a football scholly. So might as well make it a team effort between Mullen and Sully. I really don't see him contributing much if he's a true two sport guy.

Just trying to think of the two sport guys:
Doug Johnson
Gavin Dickey
Cornelius Ingram

Not really anyone that stands out. Johnson was the most reviled QB in the SOS era. Dickey never did anything, and Ingram had one? good year. Any others?

Maybe he saw what that Kylar Murray did and we’re selling him on that? Not putting his talents in either sport on par with Murray but that might be the selling point.

Really? Deion Sanders and Charlie Ward come to mind. How far ahead of the game would Timmy be if he had played baseball at UF also?

And yet, they never played at UF. Can you name any real UF success story play two sports. John Capel was great at track, but I wouldn't call him a good football player.
