So sorry NV. Peace and grace to you and your family as you grieve. Love has a high cost.
Well the time came and we had to put Zuma down today. It’s been a really hard day for us. Never easy making those decisions. She was 14.5 yo and the cancer took over, rapidly.
Both those dogs were rescues. We only would consider a rescue.Sorry NV. Like others said, get another one. Even better, rescue a dog that needs help. I have found it to be incredibly rewarding.
I'm allergic to cats, but here is my dog Spider.View attachment 14007 View attachment 14008 View attachment 14009 View attachment 14010
Our two cats Thai (Siamese) and Lucy (Toyger)...
Our lil buddy Snowball (white dog) we had to put down in November
Saki (Shiba Inu) and Madison mix)
Mya passed away in November at some where around 15-16 years old. We miss her a lot, but our other dog Lady hasn't been the same since. We took her to vet for a check up a few weeks ago, and the vet didn't charge us for a nail trim and some glucosamine 'treats'. We think he felt bad for her.
That quote is so accurate for people and dogs.
We adopted both from Puppy Hill Farm in Gainesville. At the time we adopted her in 2006, they said Mya was 2-4 years old. For a 50 pound dog that is old...she had a great life. I would love to get Lady a friend. We keep looking at the local humane society. Lady is old too. She could be 13-14 years old.Wow that's a long life. You may need to get Lady a new friend.
