I love the jersey number switch for Perine. He's going to look good scoring a bunch of TDs in that orange & blue #2 jersey.
Still nobody has #1. They should get Henderson to switch to 1. Emory has #5. Or maybe somebody like Toney or Pierce.

I kind of like our running backs wearing 22 or 21.

I'm really glad for perine. I was afraid he was going to be odd man out last year but he really earned it.

I keep hearing people say he hasn't lost weight and I find it stunning.

Yeah, his shirt is loose in the later photo but he has pads on in the earlier one and his belly is far wider than his shoulders and pecs even with the pads on. Clearly he has lost a lot.
