I think Jones has more potential than Franks. Franks better hope he improves his passing from last year some or he will find himself on the bench this season at some point.

It was our vastly improved running game that changed the offense so much - well that and Franks not turning the ball over.

I haven’t seen enough of EJ to gauge his potential. I hope he develops such that he demands PT. He needs live reps and I hope/expect he will get them.

Frank’s ability to take care of the ball is a major plus. It gives every other aspect of the game more opportunity to influence the game, through better field position, more plays on Offense, etc.

Last year, not once did Mullen send EJ in to bail out a faltering Franks. Many ignore that EJ didn't even get enough playing time to be on a true schedule as a backup QB. So, Mullen viewed Franks as much better to invest time in or he would have used EJ more. Why was EJ used too little last year?

Yeah, I honestly remember you pushing Treon over Driskel. Little fuzzy on Grier, seems like you were pro Grier and then by the time he was suspended, you already said he was overrated, but Treon still sucked.
