Kendrick Bingley-Jones is coming for an official this week. He was a former commit.

Gervon breaks into the rivals top 100 at 98, jumping over 100 spots. 247 is hinting at, as long as he has a good summer camp, moving him into the five star category.

This is what drives me freaking crazy, he went from a low 4 to all the way to a 5*, all because he went to a few camps. The same freaking player. It's not like he improved his game because of these stupid camps.

This is really a critical year to recruit well in Florida. While there are only 2 5*'s (per Rivals) this cycle, there are 52 4*'s! If ever there was a year to load up from the back yard, this is it. Interestingly, only 2 of those 4*s are at IMG. Not living in Florida, I don't follow HS football there, so I am curious: Is this an anomaly or is IMG starting to fade as a finishing school for HS players?

Well it's more like it gives the guys doing the evaluations a chance to see them in person and competing against other highly ranked players.

Mater Dei has been getting a lot of those national kids on one team lately.

The camps are critical. Every team has a good player or two that look better than everyone else on the field.

It is when you see elite vs elite side-by-side or head-to-head that you figure out who is truly elite.

Measurements and stats (against unknown competition) mean a hell of a lot less than camps.

Jalen Rivers will announce his decision via Twitter next Sunday. I think that he goes to Miami because he wants to play OT and both Georgia and us see him as an OG.

Doing what in camps? Drills in shorts? Remember we had a training camp warrior in Driskell! He was very good against air with nobody rushing him and DBs around the receivers.

Driskell was trash in camp and lost a star, got the tag "cant read and no pocket composure". O&B glasses and a few aryan true believers were the only ones who thought Dipshyt was the one.

7 on 7 flag football w no rush doesnt mean anything, agreed. However, yes contact drill reps one on one vs elite OL tells you alot.

Games vs other elite teams (playoff) finals are important too.

For being trash in camp, he was the #1 recruit and #1 in the Opening camp circuit.

One on one tells you nothing about OL as a unit. 5 reps of one on one tell you nothing.

Murphy? Do we really believe we can flip him? Isn't there a limit to how many official visitors you can host per year?
I am talking about Myles Murphy the DL out of NC not the LB. I don't think he is committed to anybody. Yes there is a limit, I think it's 56 but don't quote me on that.

Terrible class. Meyer influenced scouts just as Saban does now. Worse though. He actually called the scouts himself and lobbied. Pushed 5 stars for Thompson Driskell etc.

Dipshut had nice measureables though. Ask the NFL.
