Leanard is a good prospect but I hope we hold out because we are still in the middle of some elite recruitments. Letting Hev fill up with these questionable takes (aside from Mincey who I really like) and taking us out of the running for top 100 kids isn’t smart

Joseph can kick rocks. Powell, Walker, Williams all better and I have zero fs for this kid and his constant love affair with Georgia

We don't need Rush Ends/OLB's/Edge rushers this year. I'm not a huge fan of Leonard (like I'm not a huge fan of the Janvier take), especially since both are short (for OL's) - we need Tackle's. BUT, at this point it looks like we're not high on very many higher ranked OLs, so I'd rather us get what we can along the OL - hope they develop and weed out the one's that don't down the line. We can always land Edge guys, it seems that's the one spot this staff has no problem landing.

Thanks for the input, but I can't help but wonder if we really need another 3*, average to fairly decent OL. I'm in full agreement about Joseph, but with relatively few slots left, is "swapping" one ham and egger for another what we really need to be doing. Admittedly, I tend be a "trust the coaches" kinda guy, but at some point this mid-range 3* BS gets old. Just sayin.'

I like recruiting services. I like to sign players rated highly by them. What I like more is pointing out the inconsistencies in the posting, particularly of the astrologers. (You seem to be including yourself in that group.) You know the drill: first argue that recruiting services are spot on, then ask naively why Wingo can have such different ratings, sneer at any naif that thinks that the coaches may have rated a recruit more accurately than the services, but then do what you deny that the coaches can do and insist that your favorite is better than rated. Are you ever surprised that political posters are more consistent than recruiting posters?

Let me say it slowly and clearly for you. You must have not heard me say it, 247 is garbage. Pretty sure they just fake some ratings rather than admit theyve never even seen (even on film) a top kid.

ESPN is done by interns and not even worthy of being mentioned, likely done by people with no sports background at all much less a football background. A messeage board eval from watching hudl is better than ESPN.

Rivals is the only reliable service.

To take it a bit further...247’s composite ranking scoops up a lot of inferior makings, so it’s not as good as Rivals.
