I was going to put this in the fsu shambles thread, but it pertains to UF too. In the 247nole podcast, Newberg, and the other 2 mentioned that the noles had 2 big man camps in June. They said not a single o-lineman there was worthy of a future offer now or in the future. It was that bad. The d-line had one potential player there.

To show how bad thing are at Blackelwain U, they said Florida had numerous talent at there big man camps for this class and the future.

Let me say it slowly and clearly for you. You must have not heard me say it, 247 is garbage. Pretty sure they just fake some ratings rather than admit theyve never even seen (even on film) a top kid.

ESPN is done by interns and not even worthy of being mentioned, likely done by people with no sports background at all much less a football background. A messeage board eval from watching hudl is better than ESPN.

Rivals is the only reliable service.

Don't you know? When 247's rankings benefit us we use 247; when Rivals rankings benefit us, we use Rivals; we'll even dip into ESPN now and then - like Anthony Richardson, for example, who is ranked #157 overall!

This is a reasonable position for a Gator board. But when this position is adopted, one should not treat said ranking as infallibly correct.

Rivals said they were hearing commitment. Va tech mods said no way and then out of nowhere they changed their stance and said it’s probably a commitment. Both VT mods at 247 put in CB picks
