Trask just seems to process his decisions quicker. He’s not an alpha dog or a leader so to speak, but he was poised and accurate and decisive and none of those adjectives have ever been attached to Felipe’s name

Personality wise, not performance, but it feels like the difference between Terry Dean and Danny.

To someone's point earlier, if a quarterback can make decisions quicker, it relieves the OL tremendously.

Agree, we are not at practice so we dont have a clue.

I wasn't able to watch the game, so I've been following here on Gatorchatter, and it didn't look good at all.
But what do you know, the Donk comes back, and that made me happy.
Then Trask comes in and wins the game for us! Oh the irony!
So where do we go from here?
I feel bad for Franks but am happy for the win. I'm happy that Donk is back.
I'm going to celebrate for a bit and look forward to reading cover2, GatorTruth133, and the Captain.
Maybe Law can throw in some input.
Great to have you back Swonkey.
We really needed this one.

You know as well as I do that there will be more of these. Just hope not next week.

Trask was epic.
Yeah, he is so much better than Franks at seeing the field and intermediate routes. That's what I don't get about Mullen. If he was insistent on playing Franks, okay, if that's your man let him sling it deep and often since that's his strength, and don't be so terrified about long punt-like INT's.

Maybe a Gator fishing buff for trask to wear. No sunscreen needed

Wow. I thought for much of this game we would get beaten by a more veteran, although maybe less talented, Kentucky team.

I think it turned on that 4th down stop. Then Franks’ injury sparked them. So sorry to see him hurt like that. Terrible.

Mullen’s call on that jet sweep to Hammond was brilliant. Grantham’s adjustments with his ever-depleting defense finally worked.

Close wins at Kentucky don’t imply doom. “Doering’s got a touchdown!” Led to 4 straight SEC titles. But we have a long way to go with that OL and we need to get some guys back on D.

And Trask is WAY better than I expected. I was wrong. Donk/Law was wrong. I’m on the platform ready to buy my ticket on the Trask Train. EJ better be ready, too!

The Trask Train has officially left the station!

Don’t know where he’ll take us but it’s real now.

I can’t imagine what law must be going thru.....

What a great game for me:
1) We win.
2) The O-line is bad as I predicted, not the asset some said.
3) Trask played well as I thought he might while law and others said he would never see the field.
4) Franks won't go NFL, so we will have an experienced QB next year while AR develops.
Win, win, win, and win.

Oxstradamus looking like he reads tea leaves with some of his comments in his "Kyle Trask will start against KY".

I’ll need to see how it plays out for them. Their OL is legit, backs are average, backup QB played well for much of the game. They were a solid team last year, not as good but I expect they’ll wind up 9-3 or 8-4 since the SEC east is so weak.

At this point, we’ve just won an SEC road game against a decent team. I’m relieved and see that we need work especially on the OL, and I think our OL coach is among the best.
