At this point, I see no reason for him to come back. Time to brush off the baseball cleats and put away the football ones.

If he transfers, he will be picked up based of intangibles alone.....I know this statement will earn some dislikes, but I could see Willie luring him to Tally for a final year of eligibility.

If an nfl team will draft dumbazz Drisktard, someone will draft Feleipe, probably highly. He has a cannon (likely the biggest arm at the conbine) is huge and fast,w a decent QBR and who threw for 2500 yards vs SEC defenses in a run first offense.

With AR coming in next year and I believe Trask still has one more year I believe he’s gone. Question is does he try the draft or another college? I also worry that EJ could bolt if he’s not starting by next year. I hate having just 2 scholarship QB’s to rely on. I guess Trask could leave as well if he wanted to. I know Mullen doesn’t seem to like transfer QB’s but talk on radio here in NE FL is that the Gatewood kid at Auburn isn’t happy and would likely transfer after the season. Have no idea how good he is, he’s backing up Nix and he didn’t exactly impress anyone Saturday. But Gatewood is from the area and I believe Mullen did recruit him. Regardless I wish Franks all the luck with whatever he decides, I never questioned his effort. I think he tried his best.

After Trask leads us to Atlanta, he'll be the starter going in to next season if he isn't drafted. Then he'll lead us to a NC, Franks sees the writing on the wall...

Let him go. Thank him for his service. We will be ok. Trask starts next year book it. EJ will be a RSS with plenty of ingame experience.

EJ takes over as a RSJ the following year allowing AR's injury to heal completely. CDM fills in the backups with GT and all is well.

The future looks bright.

Cracked more than his ankle?
The thing is, were he to stay how many fans in the stands would feel really good about seeing Franks come in to spell Trask?
Actually, Mullen's undivided attention needs to be on making our offense better use 2 QBs : Trask & EJ ... maybe like he did with Leak & Tebow. All so EJ will stay and develop, having game by game fun in preparation for starring in his final and NFL audition year running a high power offense for UF.

Will Trask even come back next year considering he’s already graduated? Franks seems to be headed towards the grad transfer/baseball route. Disappointing, but he should do what he thinks is best for himself.

I have been happy with Trask, but I am not sure he could beat Franks if next year's O-line can run block. Lots here have been calling for EJ when he looked terrible. Now he is starting to look like a QB and might beat out both next year.

I'm not a fan of transfer quarterbacks. Why would you want a guy who can't beat Nix? Situations like UGA had with Eason, Fromm then Fields all being really highly rated guys that left due to opportunity, I can make concession for that.
