I’ve clearly explained why KY, USC & Vandy aren’t rivals and why LSU is a rival in the eyes of many. Are you seriously still trying to debate this?
Corndogs Prediction Thread

I mean, I guess but never saw the word “rival” in our prediction thread even though it was a huge game. For me, they aren’t even on par with Auburn or Miami and those two are far behind the top 3. To each their own though.

:bwahaha: Seriously, study up on your history. We’ve played LSU every year since 1953 with the exception of ‘68-‘70. There is a reason why the conference calls it a cross divisional RIVALRY. We’ve played Miami 7 times in the past 32 years, we’ve played LSU 32 times in the past 32 years. We’ve played LSU more total times than we’ve played Miami...and Tennessee for that matter.

As for Tennessee, we didn’t start playing them annually until 1990. Yes the series burned hot from 1990 through about 2002 but they’ve been so down since then that it’s taken the luster off the game, to say the least. Prior to 1990, we played Tennessee about 19 total times in the previous 74 years dating back to 1916.

Auburn was a huge annual rivalry for us until 2002. We haven’t played them much since so it’s cooled off to some degree.

Bottom line is FSU & UGA are our main rivals and an argument could be made that LSU and/or Tennessee are in the top 3 but nobody in their right mind would argue Miami is our rival and some, but not many, would put Auburn on this list at this time. That’s just the facts.

There’s nothing “factual” about who our rivals are. It’s completely subjective with consensus on the top 2. I’m pretty happy with my definition and I’m perfectly happy with you feeling different. I’d wager if you ask 10 gator fans to name the order and make up of their top 3 rivals, you’d get 8 or 9 answers. Try not to lose too much sleep over it - it’s gonna be ok.

You never defined the meaning of rival despite me asking. All you did was list who you think our rivals are. Anybody in 2019 listing Miami or Auburn as our rivals is just dumb. And I won’t be losing any sleep over this.

Smattering of mentions for LSU here but mostly 4/5. Almost always behind Tennessee. “Old Gators” argue auburn and Miami. I see you didn’t bother to list them either. Must not be that important. Wasn’t important enough to make the poll either.

LSU in that thread in your post in page 5.

In that thread I listed FSU & UGA as our 2 biggest rivals, same as I did in this thread. I didn’t list a 3rd biggest rival in the previous thread but that doesn’t mean we don’t have a 3rd biggest rival. What I can assure you is that Miami and Auburn aren’t #3.

There is nothing inconsistent about what I posted in the two separate threads. You’re just an idiot.

Possibly. Or I just have a different opinion that seems to be more consistent with the posters on this site. But whatever. Good luck with the dawgs tomorrow. Not many around here to worry about.

Hahaha, yeah, keep telling yourself that. Let me know after you’ve finished counting what the tally is on how many posters consider our rivals to be Miami and Auburn rather than LSU and/or Tennessee in the top 3. And by the way, FSU and UGA are clearly rated #1 & #2 which is also what I said. I’m waiting for your tally, you fcvking idiot.

Never said Auburn or Miami were bigger than UT. I listed my order. I’m good with it.

I never said you said Miami & Aub were bigger rivals than TN. What you implied in various posts on this thread is that USC, KY & Vandy are equal rivals to UF as LSU because we play each of them every year and you also stated that Miami & Auburn could be considered rivals to UF with no mention by you of LSU being a rival. Neither is correct. You’re just arguing for the sake of doing so, which is a true sign of a mental midget.

How is your tally from the other post about rivals coming along? Have you calculated how many other posters consider Miami and/or Auburn to be bigger UF rivals than LSU? I’m anxious to hear the results.

This my last post on this. You most assuredly did in this quote right here:

I’m not providing a tally. I responded to your “eyes of many” quote:

I’ve clearly explained why KY, USC & Vandy aren’t rivals and why LSU is a rival in the eyes of many. Are you seriously still trying to debate this?

with two examples that disagree with you. Comb through them at your leisure but they don’t support what you claim.

The examples of teams we play every year was to show that an annual game doesn’t necessarily make it a rivalry. And per the offseason rivalry thread, not a lot of people do or they don’t consider it above others like UT. Have a good night.

No moron, I didn’t say that you said Miami & Auburn were bigger rivals than TN. The statement of mine you quoted asked about POSTERS OTHER THAN YOU who considered Miami & Auburn to be bigger UF rivals than TN and/or LSU, which is a point you alluded to.

You did say that Miami & Auburn are bigger UF rivals than LSU...guess what, they’re not.

You brought up the other post & implied that Miami & Auburn were mentioned more often as rivals than LSU. They weren’t and when asked to provide a tally you demurred like a coward.

The “eyes of many” quote was me comparing LSU’s rival status to that of USC, KY & Vandy, not other teams like Miami, Auburn, TN or any other teams. Apparently you’re now trying to argue that USC, KY & Vandy got more collective votes than LSU as being our rivals. Guess what, you’re wrong again...and contrary to what you said, you didn’t provide any examples otherwise. You’re all twisted up and you don’t know your head from your azz...because you’re a ****ing moron! Hell, you’re so dumb, you’ve taken the position that I’ve stated with certainty that LSU is a bigger rival for us than TN, which I’ve never said. What my position has been all along is that FSU & UGA are our two biggest rivals, that TN & LSU are viewed by the majority as 3 and 4 in the current environment but the order depends on who you ask and that Miami & Auburn ARE NOT bigger rivals for UF at this time than LSU. You disagree with LSU/Miami/Auburn...and that makes you an idiotic moron who is WRONG!

I'm done with you for the rest of the night. I’ve wasted enough of my time arguing with a stupid drunk idiot who doesn’t know his head from his azz. When you sober up, spend a few hours untangling yourself from your dumb drunken “logic” and come up with something better...or better yet, man up, admit you have been wrong & move on. Until then...fcvk off!
