Seriously, study up on your history. We’ve played LSU every year since 1953 with the exception of ‘68-‘70. There is a reason why the conference calls it a cross divisional RIVALRY. We’ve played Miami 7 times in the past 32 years, we’ve played LSU 32 times in the past 32 years. We’ve played LSU more total times than we’ve played Miami...and Tennessee for that matter.
As for Tennessee, we didn’t start playing them annually until 1990. Yes the series burned hot from 1990 through about 2002 but they’ve been so down since then that it’s taken the luster off the game, to say the least. Prior to 1990, we played Tennessee about 19 total times in the previous 74 years dating back to 1916.
Auburn was a huge annual rivalry for us until 2002. We haven’t played them much since so it’s cooled off to some degree.
Bottom line is FSU & UGA are our main rivals and an argument could be made that LSU and/or Tennessee are in the top 3 but nobody in their right mind would argue Miami is our rival and some, but not many, would put Auburn on this list at this time. That’s just the facts.
