Has he had surgery on that ankle yet?Haven't seen this anywhere, but TOS is reporting that Zuniga is considering trying to get another year of eligibility - he only played in 5 games and a couple of those games were just a few snaps. So, if that's the case he likely sit out even if he's healthy/recovered from the ankle issue.
They only sit out if they are friggin whimps. Whiny ass whimps.
Your whimpy @$$ would sit out if you had 7 figures on the line.
The Scouts seem to be fairly lazy and mostly look at bowl game performance is particularly when it shows players up against another NFL type player. You can also look at it as an opportunity to improve your draft status.
Geeze man, it was a joke.
It's easy for you or me to say that from our couches with potato chips on our chins. Some of these guys have generational wealth on the line. Should they really risk that for the Fartknocker Bowl, a game no one will ever remember again? GMAFB.They only sit out if they are friggin whimps. Whiny ass whimps.
Nope. This isn't the fartknocker bowl, there's a big difference between finishing in top 5 and finishing below a dozen other teams. It's not meaningless at all.Our bowl game is completely meaningless. I find it hard to bag on a guy with millions on the line. Very hard.
If you win the Orange Bowl, you win what.....a plastic trophy? Other than #1, who gives a crap where teams finish? If you aren't #1 it doesn't effing matter. We aren't NC State.Nope. I'd love to see all the guys play, but like another poster said, don't want any of that crap that vh3 pulled a few years ago.
Welllll, @gatormandan wrote, "They only sit out if they are friggin whimps. Whiny ass whimps." You presumably agreed with that sentiment because you "liked" his post. But then, after you liked it, he came back and said it was just a joke. Hence the meme.
If only we had a way to denote when we think something is funny but don't necessarily like it.I liked it because the harsh, prickish tone made me laugh...not because I weighing in on whether he really felt that way. I presumed he was being deliberately over the top.
Youre going to trigger @mgm. he's way too damn old for change. If only we had a way to denote when we think something is funny but don't necessarily like it.
You seem to like the Swamp Gas way of doing things.Could not agree more. If you're going to allow posters to give each other ratings, then two of the best ratings you can offer to promote entertaining posting are "Funny" and "Informative."
As dumb as it may seem, once people see others earning those ratings, many try earning them for themselves. Yes, some will try too hard and embarrass themselves. But for the most part, it certainly doesn't hurt the general appeal of a forum when you've got posters who are earnestly trying to make you chuckle or tell you something you didn't already know.
I believe The Boss has said on previous occasions that he doesn't think there's any real distinction between "liking" a post and tagging it as "funny" or "informative." I respectfully disagree.

It's meaningless. 100%. We should decline the invite.
