I haven’t ran the numbers yet but this certainly seems to be shaping up to be helluva class. Mullens seems to be better at balancing the class as opposed to his predecessors.
Yeah, 2/3rds blue chippers is the lowest goal and we’ll get there.
The next is getting 85 players on the roster for the first time in forever and we may achieve that.
The next is top 250’s. Because top 250 is where the curve starts going exponential. And top 150’s are almost sure things.
Last I looked UGAy had only 15 commits and 14 are BCs. And with 7 less players they still rank ahead of us.
Having said that we are getting close and maybe even close enough.
At this point I’m not sure that facilities aren’t more of an influence. The schools ahead of us Bama, ugay lsu and AtM are miles ahead of us in that category.

No they don’t. Not even close. Did you even try to look this up?

Kyle Pitts: 51 catches for 610 yards

All three Georgia tight ends: 22 total receptions for 278 yards.

And then we can use Krull and Zipperer to further add to the disparity

Georgia’s two best receivers had a combined 15 more catches than Kyle Pitts.

I think because you brought up that he attended a game where TEs had no catches, he assumed it was our game against Georgia. I’m not sure what he means by the game clinching catch by a TE though. Against us that was Cager. And he’s a WR.

Don't know if it was posted, it probably was, but DT Tim Smith is taking his OV to UF on 12/13 and I believe it's the last one he'll do.

Let's hope the Bama bag men are running a little light at this late date.
It is close to Christmas. Maybe they spent all their recruiting bags on family this year? Clemson, unfortunately, seems to have been dropping lots of Florida “gifts” this year.

Some of it is facilities. The rest of it is that we were an absolute train wreck. For a decade. And we burned a crap ton of connections in local high schools.

Mullen is doing a great job.

I think he still needs to let a couple guys go like English and Knox – neither can recruit and neither have done worth a damn as position coaches.

No, UGA converted the 3rd and 7 with a miracle pass off Fromm’s backfoot across the field an inch past Stewart’s hand to a TE. Had they not converted, we would’ve gotten the ball back with 2.5+ minutes remaining to tie.

Gotcha. I don’t think that’s the game he was referring to though. Maybe he was referring to the last game against Texas A&M? It looks like there was only one catch by a tight end. Fromm was particularly crappy in that game. Only 11 completions.

That’s a trend for him. Unless he’s playing a Grantham led defense. Then he’s Heisman worthy.

We might be losing Larry Scott. He is a serious candidate for the USF job. I could see moving Knox over to TEs and bringing in Seider?
