Any concerns with this? Even an upgrade from Coley? I see he’s got some OSU under his belt but he also was, apparently, an LSU passing game coordinator at LSU pre-Brady, which was laughable.

Monken is a good coach, but he's not bringing in a "Joe Brady" type of passing game. He'll bring in more of the NFL type ball control crap Kirby likes. He should have brought in an RPO coach because that's what their new transfer is, also it's what CFB is doing. They did seem to pass it a little more vs. Baylor, but they're not going full LSU next year. Imo, the biggest change is we'll see their QB run more than Fromm.

My FIL is a Dawg, and wanted to replace Richt with Kirby for years before it happened. He was thrilled for the first couple of years, but now hates Kirby because of the way he has managed the QB room -- he liked Eason and Fields, hates Fromm.

Don't know about him as OC, but he was a good HC at USM. I was surprised he went the NFL route. He could have gotten a good HC job on college if he hadn't bolted.
