UF versus Baylor (16-1) ...... Saturday 8pm .... ESPN >>> home game.

Baylor's 1 loss, was very early in the season. So they're overdue for a loss? Lost to Washington a 12-8 team.

Baylor drives to the basket. Their players kiss it off the glass so they don't clang-miss much.

Baylor has 4 players in the 6' 9" range. Gators should be able to defend well against Baylor if White lets them drop back near the basket in positioning.??

Baylor scorers =
Jared Butler 16.1 ....Teague 13.6 ... Gillespie 9.9 .... Mitchell 9.7
Team stats Baylor = near 80 ppg ... FG% = 42.8%
3pt% = 34.6% ........ FT% = 70.2% ........ REB/g = 38.9 ........ TOs = 11.8/g

We can beat these guys if our coaching preparation is correct. ?? = talls drop back near basket. don't let them get behind Johnson, Payne, or Blackshear. Passing awareness at all times. Cut down on turnovers.
Find Payne inside, Blackshear & Johnson too. Best hit high % of threes or don't try so many.

Grow Gators! Play as if you were well-coached.

Whitey's track record against great defenses isn't good. I see a butt whooping coming.

Cut out the stupid turnovers and play like it means something, show us some fire, the kind of Jo Kim chest bumping fire.

Maybe these Gators realize that they can play good enough to beat top opponents, as long as White doesn't send 6'10" Payne out near the arc to defend. Close the back door.

We win this one, because we aren’t supposed to. We’ll go on to lose the next 3 because we aren’t supposed to. Somehow that continues to happen with White’s teams.

Doom! But I'll watch anyway. Masochistic fun. Maybe we'll win! Tune in and medicate, just in case. Drink up Johnny.

Blackshear moves like Dennis Rodman, but wants to be Michael Jordan.

Something about basketball screwups Gator fans never think about = the other team may screw up worse.
Ain't that a douche? -- we have to hope their coach screws up worse than White ?
Fussing with myself : I'd say "Hey White, perfect chance for you to do your own turnaround and lead this team thoroughly.??

Baylor scores 73 points a game and only allows 58 points a game so they are elite defensively. Can we play well enough to shock the nation and beat the #1 ranked team? The O Dome will be hyped up and rocking. Go Gators!!

Baylor bringing White the opportunity of the season. Will he be fired up? Will he be able to transfer some of his fire to his players?
Will he hold the arm of the player he just took out and point to an area of the court and explain what he did wrong? Explain what is the right action to take? Coach 'em up.

Hard to believe, but we're favored by 2 according to SportsLine.

Tells you that the oddsmakers and betting public see almost no difference in the talent/ability level of these teams. So Baylor would be about a 2 point favorite on a neutral court and about 5 if it were at Baylor. And I have probably seen 70 or so teams play on TV this year and about 45 of them all look the same to me. There is not a single stand out/ great team out there. How about a final 4 or something like Seton Hall, Dayton, San Diego St. and Oregon? won;t happen but could possibly look similar?
