Anyone else think hiring Deion Sanders would have similar results as Taggert at FSU?

We need Deion to get hired by one of our rivals that’s actually a good team so he can fcvk it all up. Arkansas is already shiiat so it does us no good.

Vanderbilt: Malcolm Turner has resigned as AD. Candice Storey Lee has been appointed interim AD, making her the first African-American female to lead an SEC athletics department. A former Commodore athlete and a three-time Vanderbilt graduate, Lee has been VU’s deputy AD since 2016.

Ron Zook sighting:

Maryland:
Senior analyst Ron Zook is no longer a part of the Terps staff. Zook previously served as the head coach at Florida (2002-04) and Illinois (2005-11) before becoming a special teams coordinator for the Packers and then the Salt Lake Stallions of the AAF.

Oh well. Back to the drawing board for Zooker.

To ease the transition at such a strange time, I happen to know a candidate whose experience is on the defensive side of the ball, specifically as a DC just like Dantonio was before ascending to HC. Joe Lee Dunn Jr.

Said he wants to spend more time with his family, where have I heard that before, and has nothing to do with being accused of recruiting violations. Sure Mark, whatever you say.

He's had serious health issues for years. Honestly, I'm surprised he continued coaching, especially after the 3 win season two years ago. I'm sure the rumors of NCAA violations probably forced him out, but at his age he'll either be spending time with family or working as an analyst - unless he kicks the bucket due to his bad ticker.

South Carolina's staff is jumping ship bigtime - the writing is on the wall. They've lost 5 position coaches this off-season, one or two may have been a firing for the hiring of Bobo as OC:

- Bryan McClendon - to Steelers to coach WR's
- Matt Lindsay - player personnel director/recruiting to Ole Miss
- Thomas Brown, RB's - to LA Rams
- John Scott, DL coach - to Penn State

Now, Muschamp has just hired two Tennessee assistants: DL coach Tracy Rocker is joining the SC staff (why?), and UT's Drew Hughes as player personnel director (didn't Hughes work at UF?).
