False - alot of teams below us on the bubble have been losing and we are ranked higher than them in the net rankings so we are all but in.

We have the HC for that.
Do you think Payne isn't allowed playing time due to poor academics? Do schools do that?
On the face of it, White must want Payne to transfer. As is, what could Payne have done that keeps him out, while Jitoboh gets more minutes playing time? Playing time should be based on successful contributions. Has Glover earned more playing time? Perhaps he has a medical condition that's kept private - like attacks of vertigo.

I think for Payne look at it like this. Lewis has gotten minutes all year despite really shaky offense.....why? Elite defense. Mann went a good stretch without playing much but now is in the solid rotation despite inconsistent offense....why? Better defense (and taking better care of the ball). Payne went through a stretch of atrocious defense and has barely played since. He is an elite shot blocker but he has to demonstrate he understands defensive concepts. Forget White....few coaches will tolerate defensive lapses like they will offensive ones.

I don’t think it’s anything more than that. I also think the light will go on....in practice....and this kid will be a stud from that point in. I don’t know what’s going on in practice but maybe Jitoboh is working harder and earning those minutes. Besides Bassett got the extra minutes tonight.

You covered it very well, Marine1. Thanks for your service.
I really miss the player Omar ought to be. Like you said, hope the light goes on for him. These Gators could surely use 10 more points at a 60% accuracy, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks with some intimidations. But, I don't see him being ready for the SEC tournament, even.

Well I think when that light comes on it will start to happen quick for him. It’s a freshman thing. Quite common.

Someone else mentioned a few days ago that he is playing somewhat out of position. He’s too light to really consistently post up on the block. He has to develop his game facing the basket. Range to the elbow and short corner....then blow by heavy foot defenders for dunks and layups.

I’m really excited about his future. I just hope he’s working hard in practice and not sulking. His time will come.

Whichever ref called a flagrant on Johnson after a 10 minute video review, should be fired. Didn't even touch him.

It was a terrible call. As was the goaltending on Bassett when it was a clear tip in from outside the basket.

Nice comeback win against the puppies. It's nice to see they don't give up and cave, which could be a good thing for the tournament.

There are certain times in life, as a parent, you take pride in instilling values in your kids. I am very proud to have taught my 2 year old that anytime someone says Georgia Bulldogs, she raises her index finger waves it and says No, No, No.

We need more good responsible parenting like this in our country!

Probably, but not for sure. Lunardi only has us as a 9 seed. We lose the last two games, plus have some teams win their conference tourneys who aren't supposed to, and we could get pushed out. It is unlikely, but it has happened to teams before. The way we can be sure is to beat UK or win a sec tourney game or two.

We start 0-11 from 3....hit 7-12 from there.

Georgia started 4-4 from 3.....hit 1-11 from there.

And they started 7-7 on their shots overall. We looked ugly early on, but figured it out for the second half. As much as we bash White, he deserves some credit for getting the right players to click in the second half. I'll stand by the statement as HC he should have them clicking in practice and from the tip-off, but the fact we were able to adjust and win should be a credit to him.

I've still not seen or heard any explanation for the flagrant. I had O&B glasses on when they make a buzzer shot and we get a clock violation, and for Bassett's tip-in, but for the flagrant I have no idea how they make that call.

Still love me some Keyontae.

Bloomsburg ads made me laugh.

White also deserves credit for switching to a zone in the second half.

Gotta give credit where it’s due, but seriously this is a team Florida should have wiped the floor with - and they pretty much did after that adjustment but they also started hitting 3’s.

This game was fun! Hopefully, White gets on a roll and stumbles into some more good coaching adjustments against UK.

White is really a sophomore in coaching. He has plenty of room to grow and mature just like his players do. It will be interesting to see what he has learned from his experimenting throughout the season and if he can apply it so we can have a nice post season run.

I’m not following the logic. He’s in his 9th year as a head coach, 5th at UF. He is what he is, but anyone can improve I guess. Would be odd to see a sudden leap into Rhodes Scholar excellence after 8 years of C- grades with one random year making an A.
