I've been working from home for 2+ weeks and was on the road for 3 weeks before that and I'm still getting my job done. Not sure why the coaches need to be in their offices, particularly now that the season is over. Where there's a will, there's a way. Looking like there's not much will.

Honestly I doubted even entered to their minds, for a second.

All contractors and outside workers were asked to stop work and vacate campus.
The baseball field was a ghost town today
For how long, who knows.

did he really, or are you just guessing?

Here's the quote:

"A couple of things about that. Number one, we're not really in a position to say baseball is for sure over. We still have our coaches and staff and all of our equipment in baseball and that can't be moved over until the other facility, the new facility, is completed. We feel really good about the timeline we have on moving baseball over and beginning on the new football training center, the Heavener Training Center. We think we're going to get it done in a timely manner and we look forward to breaking ground this summer." UF AD Scott Stricklin

Baseball Park Update:
I went by to see the new baseball park today. I keep a hard hat and safety vest in my truck to wear when I go on construction sites. I donned the hard hat and vest and walked up the stadium steps to look at the new digs. It's very nice and look forward to the 2021 season. Most of the concourse floor is poured and all (?) of the seats are installed. It is 15-20 years overdue. I think parking is still going to be nightmare based on latest info.

The sooner its finished the sooner they start on the new football facility

@Bullag8r

was anyone actually there working?

Well, it was lunch time. I saw a couple dozen guys sitting around eating in the stadium. A concrete truck pulled up outside the stadium and a dozen or more workers were preparing to pour concrete.

The infield and outfield grass has been installed. Looks like astro turf behind home plate and extending in both directions toward 1st and 3rd bases. The warning track is orange astro turf.

Hopefully they've saved the old stadium toilets for the new football facility.

They will probably install the new low water use toilets and no water urinals. Bathroom sink faucets in McKethan haven't worked right in over 20 years and they never bothered to repair or replace them. They installed new tile about ten years ago but that's about it.
