That is the sad state of affairs in our country right now and unfortunately, you are correct. Used to be a time where people practiced discretion and respectfully or quietly disagreed with each other knowing that at the end of the day we all were in this together, just had different approaches. And there used to be a time where we did not let political things clutter non-consequential stuff like sports. Sigh. Continue on

And there used to be a time when sports wasn't about "politics". Not any more. And there used to be a time when Americans agreed that Capitalism was good and Communism was bad. Not any more. And there used to be a time when sex was determined by actual.....you know.....biology. Not any more. And there used to be a time when even the most wacked out Americans would agree that serial killers and murderous terrorists shouldn't be allowed to vote. Not any more. And there used to be a time when even the biggest nutjobs didn't think we should do away with police forces. Not any more. There used to be a time that most of the people in elected office weren't totally bat$h!t crazy and wanting to implement insane policies like we hear today. Not any more.
It's not "politics" any more. It's the survival of a system of government and economics that have made this the greatest, most prosperous country in the history of man. So unfortunately it's inevitable that the "politics" of today now encompasses every aspect of our lives.

It doesn't care about the plastic bubble wrap youve draped yourself in while you huddle in the fetal position in your mom's basement either. When you get it, and you will because we all will, (that's the whole point), make sure to log on and tell us how much safer you feel knowing you wore that mask.

I wore a mask in the beginning until I took a COVID test and an antibody test...completely negative...but then again I have no friends...the other thing is some ppl are just dumb hanging out in groups and going to the beach with friends that don’t live with them...or protesting or whatever it is ppl do...I have 5 kids and I’m not going to walk by or hug anyone at the store...I even stopped shaking hands...if you can’t stay 6 foot away from ppl idk what to tell you...but I do know I’m not gonna be told how to live my life because I’m responsible and don’t do anything wrong...the ppl that are arguing for masks (that I’ve seen yelling at me) hug someone or do dumb **** while wearing their mask...it’s like sleeping with a hooker and saying it’s ok cause u used protection...the original thought was bad so don’t tell someone they’re dumb for not buying a prostitute in the first place
