Many thanks to all who have congratulated me on another year in paradise . I am at the point where I would like to defer on these added years but I know it is not possible.
I frequently joke with my wife that I am now worth more dead than alive. She used to laugh, but now she barely nods her head in agreement. This past weekend she kept asking me if I wanted some hand made freshly squeezed lemonade. I like lemonade but prefer lime juice especially in my Patron. Yesterday I read about a recall from our local grocery, Wegman's for you guessed it , lemons. Something about a listeria contamination. Probably a coincidence, and we tossed the lemons and laughed about it.
I thought of Cover 2 and his birthday meal, and could see me chugging a couple of lemonades, a dinner of lemon crusted chicken, and a big slice of lemon meringue pie right before they wheeled me into ICU. :) I think I will stop with the dead or alive jokes for now.
Anyway you all made my day.
