That may be happening in Illi noise, but a quote from national leader would be more relevant to the national scope of the pandemic.

Ok. And this is the problem. You really think one state is just rogue for no clear reason? No, you don’t. Nor do you think the motorcycle accident in Orlando that was labeled as Covid was. Or my wife’s 86 year old grandfather, etc. There are dozens of these stories all over the place. So while you’re mockingly accusing some here of believing nonsense, you’re actually doing it yourself.

There’s poor strippers? ;)
I saw one in Daytona Beach who was flat as a board and her eyes were so close it was almost one oblong eye.

Im pretty sure she was poor. I did pay her for a lap dance...... on another guy.

The TDS is strong with that one...

If you want to come in critical of those with DT blinders on, you’ll get no argument from me. But if you’re going to be just as ridiculously slanted in your attempts to do so, you’re going to hear about it. So far QCG has been completely decimated on BLM and now Covid. He seems to pick the least defensible subjects.

I'm a Libertarian, and I call it like I see it. So many people have guzzled the koolaid, and are brainwashed to believe every single negative aspect of life should be laid at the feet of Trump. People getting triggered over funny, lighthearted comments about the pathetic state of our beloved Gators... SAD!

IDPH Director explains how Covid deaths are classified

Essentially, Dr. Ezike explained that anyone who passes away after testing positive for the virus is included in that category.

"If you were in hospice and had already been given a few weeks to live, and then you also were found to have COVID, that would be counted as a COVID death. It means technically even if you died of a clear alternate cause, but you had COVID at the same time, it's still listed as a COVID death. So, everyone who's listed as a COVID death doesn't mean that that was the cause of the death, but they had COVID at the time of the death." Dr. Ezike outlined.
Dr. Ngozi Ezike Refutes Notion That Illinois is Over-counting COVID-19 Deaths

Ezike said that the state is being careful to make sure to weed out deaths where the patient had COVID-19, but died in a manner completely detached from the virus, such as gunshot wounds or motor vehicle crashes.

“There are also some additional deaths that happen in someone who happened to be COVID positive, but where the COVID infection had nothing to do with the deaths,” she said. “So we are at IDPH trying to remove those obvious cases where the COVID diagnosis was not the reason for the death. If there was a gunshot wound, if there was a motor vehicle accident, we know that that was not related to the COVID positive status.

So which time was she telling the truth? Personally, I’m of the opinion that someone’s first statement is their most accurate and that when a complete 180 occurs, it’s because they received heat. In any event, you’re believing your quote from someone rather than another. Fine by me. But also doesn’t change anything that I said. I’ve never been a denier that there is a virus or that it can’t kill people. But the idea that numbers are correct, when they’ve told you their way is flawed and inaccurate is sill to me. And that’s just the admission. There are other focused cases of this regarding deaths that had nothing to do with Covid. I have one in my family. That’s not debatable.

I know you don't really spend any time in the political forum, but I would encourage you to look in this thread:

COVID-19: I just did some quick calculations on death

While you are spot on that the risk to these kids and most of the coaches is negligible and shouldn't prevent us from playing, the evidence that 200,000 people have died from covid is pretty clear. It's just that 200,000 isn't that big of a number.

Yes, of course there are errors. Even some that are missed. The question is whether it's a material amount.

It's pretty damn easy to look at the change in the total number of people dying and see that there's a significant increase in all of the places where covid outbreaks are and that the increase aligns pretty closely with the number of people dying of covid.

I'm not going to rehash the other thread I linked here, but if you have any other actual plausible explanation for the increase, I'd love to discuss it in that thread.
