Hated 'Butterscotch' hard candy. My grandmother kept those at her house for when we visited, nobody ever ate any. I think we threw out some that were 25y+ old eventually.

My grandmother always had Werther’s Original in her drawer next to her chair. We loved them. :lol:

Grandfather drove a school bus for 50+ years had a school bus candy jar, always had werther's original in it.

Several years ago when the kids were young we took them into a neighborhood for candy. One house was giving out Heath bars so I "stole" our daughter's bag and went up to the door with a blue wig on to get my own candy! Couldn't resist the Heath bars. :lol:

Heath is the best...that and Twix are my go to candy to steal from the kids...but they love Heath too now

I also make homemade Heath and caramel ice cream that is amazing

These two are favorites from younger years, though I rarely have them anymore. My daughter makes homemade Almond Joys at Christmas that are better than the store bought ones.
