Nembhard already killing it for Gonzaga

I am really happy to hear Nembhard is already doing so well at Gonzaga! Can't really say that I'm surprised, though, because the kid is very mature and level headed for his years.

Overall I feel about him like I do about Felipe Franks. Both were great Gators while they were here as players, students and program ambassadors. Therefore, though I think it was in everyone's best interests for both of them to transfer, they will always be Gators to me and I'll be pulling for them in their post Gator careers (except when playing UF, of course ).

John Blanchette: Andrew Nembhard's stellar showing against West Virginia just another example of Gonzaga's embarrassment of riches

(Note to all those who will inevitably give me crap for supporting these 'deserters':

I am certainly happier to claim Franks, Nembhard and even guys like Driskel than guys like Janoris Jenkins who, though great, was also a pinhead at UF that embarrassed himself and the program on his way out. I still consider Jenkins a Gator too, but I am less of a fan of his overall because he did not really live up to the Gator Standard by any stretch of the imagination.)

I've never heard of Andrew Nembhard so I'll take your word for it.

Let's close the book on any discussion of Franks....forever.

I'd claim janoris over any of those dudes. Not only is he one of the best lockdown corners we've ever had. He was booted out , he didn't choose to leave like those other dudes. Pretty sure we actually won something when he was here too.

I'm with ya! Cam Newton will always be a Gator to me. I believe he deserves a spot between Wuerfel and Youngblood on the Ring. Franks should probably be up there too, depending on what kind of season he has this year with Arkansas.

Gonzaga has already played and beaten Kansas, Auburn, West Virginia and is about to play Baylor. It certainly gets less challenging after that, especially given the conference they play in, but I think they've successfully achieved a respectable strength of schedule at this point with their ridiculously difficult non-conference competition to start the season.

That was definitely a horrible way to end a season...

Only good part for me was that I had to turn down an opportunity to go stay at a friend's condo in Las Vegas for the first week of March Madness. Turned out to be much less of a disappointment than I'd originally expected.

Since Ben Hill Griffin is dead we could rename it Jeff Driskel Stadium....more fresh!....for all the young recruits out there.

Of course he is. He actually has a great coach in Mark Few not like the pathetic loser coach in White.

I have shared my opinion of Coach Mike White before and if I repeat myself SEC14gator will attack me for being redundant so I will simply like your post and move on because nobody ever repeats a personal opinion on Gatorchatter

I agree with you about White. It's a shame, because I used to love college basketball and now I have lost all interest. I didn't even know the Gators played a game yesterday. I won't care until White is gone.

While here Nembhard dribbled in place as if to say "Here now, I give you time to set an impenetrable defense and to know & calculate angles and breaks to imagine for stopping us."
