I broke out of prison, did a few oversized rails, and tucked my balls back to convince some dude in skinny jeans to use his computer just to say Dan is a got dayum joke. Who cares if Emory knows the whole playbook? My 9 year old daughter knows my humor but just doesn't say anything funny. My 8 month old son can't say a word but he does stupid chit all the time that cracks me up. If I need a laugh I know who I'm going with. Give me the fat window licker who always tries to crap himself during a diaper change because it's funny and cracks him up. TopBillin said one thing right when he said EJ was going to be playin for some tiny school with AR playing like this. Well, it would be right if Lt. Dan would realize he has no legs on this one and stand behind the one who doesn't turn the ball over, scores consistently, and excites the entire fan base. But he's a dipchit and the shidder is full because it contains him and his coaching staff. Dan is clearly a laces in kind of guy, and he should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.

Ok. Take away AR's 3 touchdowns the score would be 21-20 vs usf. And that's with usf conceding pretty early in the 4th. FAU would look like 21-14 without AR's production.

My biggest issue with Mullen's demeanor when being asked these questions is that this controversy is entirely self inflicted. For starters, the fact that it took an injury to Franks to get a record setting QB on the field was completely his call. That was less than 2 years ago. Now, I've defended his logic because of his offense and the fact that FF had the body type to be a better fit. Coaches are generally drawn to potential and arm strength. But again, it was his call, and it was the wrong one. Own it and accept some natural hesitancy to think you have it all figured out.

But more than that, it's been his insistence on rotating them in games, as early as Q1 that's made it worse. I truly believe if Jones had been allowed to stay in against FAU throughout the entire first half and maybe into Q3, he would've developed a better rhythm, even if only in the run game, and we score 21-28 points by halftime. There's a reason coaches, have always done that, especially with a new starter. Give him all the first team reps, let him find his groove. Then, you let the backups play. Not only does it give you a better sample size of your starter, it also helps to pour water on the idea that the backup is better if and when he lights it up, because it's a different setting. If Richardson is playing mostly scrubs in late Q3 and Q4, rather than starters in a tight game in the first half, then you're not seeing a true apples/apples comparison. You can argue that the backup was in mop up duty against a tired defense and/or 3rd stringers of an overmatched opponent. But we chose not to do that in both weeks. So we're all watching AR go out and dominate the same defensive players that EJ just threw INT's to or went 3-and-out against. This whole scenario is on Mullen and his mishandling of things.

Good post. I got to watch the last game with oxking, and I remember asking him why Mullen would play AR at all. If Emory is your guy, why stick Richardson in there? He's CREATED this damn controversy. He knew Emory needed all the reps he could get.

Well Dan, if twice in the surgeon's career he chose to ignore a giant tumor instead of cutting it out early and only did so when the patient had already lost an entire leg, then yes I would be questioning them if they are doing surgery on someone I care about. See Dak and Trask, each of whom you waited to play until forced to do so.

Well, keeping the analogy Dan chose, now the symptoms are again obvious and the pompous surgeon is yet again telling us we don't need to do anything about it. In real life, surgeons get questioned more seriously and strenuously than this fool.

If a surgeon is proven incompetent, everyone questions their judgement. He has already demonstrated that he is incompetent at putting the best QB on the field, and it took a catastrophic injury to his starter before he put the backup who ended up being a heisman candidate. Did he ever admit that KT was better than FF?

Exactly, same schit we talked about last week. Same schit we talked about last season. Destroys the whole rhythm of the offense changing the qb so early in the game. It's no longer about the quarterbacks, it's about the person who is always making the offense disjointed.
