The best action including plan and result that occurred at our miserable Miami vs. Appalachian State game this past Friday was the heroic save in an American Flag of a stray cat who somehow ended up on the top tier of the stadium hanging on by his/her paws. She/he subsequent fell into a large American flag that a fan had brought to the game & was saved.....google it. It was quite dramatic. Of course the fans went nuts over this (at least we finally had something to go nuts about). We won the game by 2 points which App.State graciously gave us. We have progressed however since the Ala. game because I did actually see 2 guys who actually made a tackle. The Miami board posters spend most of their time posting rants against Diaz (with good reason) This is just not going to be a good year for my beloved Canes. Hope at the end of the season I can eat those words.

Hope your guys rise us and beat Bama this coming Saturday. I will be pulling for your win.

At a Miami game I'm kinda surprised anyone was sitting in that section to catch the cat.

Good thing there were Republicans there otherwise nobody would have had a flag and we know nobody can catch anything but VD in Miami.

This thread might be HOF worthy already!

With all the complaints about our beloved Gators - which, no matter how true, was getting pretty stale - Daytona graciously offered up some fresh material to enable this broken but lovable group to break out of the vicious cycle to provide some major LOL material! Many replies brought tears to my eyes while laughing, and my wife thinks there's something wrong with me.

Wait one damn minute…let’s not crown the hero just yet. Watch the video and you will see that the guy holding the flag on the side the cat hit actually can’t keep a grip and the cat slams to the concrete below. It likely had severe internal injuries and was lashing out in its final death throes.

The question to be asked is how fuchsing weak is your grip that you can’t hold on to the one thing between a plummeting 3 lb cat and it’s certain death? There were 2 puzzies in that picture.
