I stayed in Augusta while visiting the Savannah River Nuclear Site a couple of years ago...
There was a James Brown display in the airport that had various artifacts, clothes, shoes and pictures.
He was quite the showman...
I loved the way they would wrap him in a cape (due to entertainment "exhaustion") and "help" him off the stage, only for him to come roaring back out to loud cheers.

He was an amazing man. An acquaintance of mine knew his daughter. I met her once. Very nice lady.

There's part of me that says "anything can happen" in this game. And then I snap out of it and realize we have Dimwit Mullenz leading this bunch of losers. My prediction is it will be completely over by halftime, and it will be as bad as Kirby wants it to be. I'll throw out UGA 38 - UF 6.

This is incorrect; their actual plan was to turn it back into a penal colony.

"The colony of Georgia, for example, was first founded by James Edward Oglethorpe who originally intended to use prisoners taken largely from debtors' prisons, creating a "Debtor's Colony," where the prisoners could learn trades and work off their debts."

I suppose a thank you is in order for you not wanting me nuked.

Absolutely. I’ve always considered you a friend. And one thing about me, I’ll never just randomly nuke an entire state without at least notifying my fiends first.

Appreciate that.

May I expect the warning to be several hours in advance, and I do mean several, to skedaddle or just enough to make my peace with our creator? (Asking for Mrs G.).

Florida is 7th in Football outsiders efficiency ratings, and in the top 15 in both offense and defense. This is while playing the noticeably worse QB and having Grantham as DC. So, we have intentionally chosen to be worse than we need to be.

The issue for everyone is the efficiency and power rankings of the top 3 (Dwags, Gumps and nuts) are so far above everyone else.

But, with AR15 in a limited role we are still the best offense by a large margin they have faced. The next closest is Auburn at 25 (ky is 40th, Clemson is 74, TN 28, Ark 32) . Nix vs AR15 isn’t close. If number 15 plays the large majority, we all know he is potentially game changing.

I’m looking for reasons for hope, granted. But, if you’re also looking for straws to grasp, there are some signals that this might be closer than expected.

I thought there was rumors going around that AR was gonna most of the snaps. If he starts and plays I give us a shot. If we're gonna play both and start EJ, I expect like a 35-10 type of uga win.

Augusta touts The Godfather of Soul. The hardest working man in show business.

I feel good!

All I am trying to say is that Georgia idolizes Ray as a state treasure but the reality is that he is a borrowed treasure.

Example- Steve Spurrier was born in Miami but grew up in Tennessee. I don’t recall ever seeing Miami tout Spurrier as a native son but Tennessee does and they should.

I don’t disagree. I was just speaking of Augusta.

if it weren't for Bait'n and Gator By Marriage, I'd say just nuke the whole place and make it into a skate park or something.

Well not to disagree with you but I think it's safe to say I know me better than you and I'd have to vote in favor of the nuke.
