It's usually a good idea for someone to get SOME experience coaching as at least a position coach before thrusting them into a head coaching gig at a major university.

Tebow has shown no interest in coaching at any level.

Timmy doesn’t have the experience to be a HC, but I think S&C would be a great spot for him and give him a complete S&C staff.

Also, maybe QB (& Recruiting Coordinator), if someone like Brian Johnson was HC or OC to oversee the offense and help the QBs. Although I know some here don’t want to continue the Meyer/mullen offense at all. Just win trophys and make it entertaining and I’m not stubborn about a particular offense. Okay, I lied - bring back the Fun n Gun.

Bring in Spikes or Peterson for LBs.
Hardmon for DL (and maybe DC if ready).
Manuel for DC.
Ratliff for DBs.
Cooper for WRs (if the scandal is gone), or maybe Baker.
I think someone recently mentioned Tartt or Trautwein was coaching OL these days?
T Jackson for RBs.
Keep Brewster for TEs.
STs - anyone who understands the importance of STs like Meyer did.

Not sure if Riley Cooper would fit the current culture at UF right now. But that's probably his 1st call for wide receivers coach. That youtube video was probably taken down years ago anyhow.
The current culture or the culture right now? Because honestly he might fit today’s culture.

..... hiring Deion, this is about 10 times stupider.
Both a terrible idea! But at least Deion has some coaching experience on his resume. And Deion is one of the top NFL players of all time. That would have more appeal to today's recruits. Besides, Saban says Deion is worthy, It's on TV, so it has to be true!

I like much of that list with WR being the exception. If we’re going dream team here, that belongs to Dwayne Dixon and no one else.

As a side note, just remember how easy is it is to turn on guys like Mullen, McElwain, Grantham, Hev, etc. Much tougher when they’re a former UF great. That’s always been one of my reservations with Bell, who was one of my first Gator memories and favorites. The idea of having to show him the door because he isn’t working is awful to think about.

All they know is he's the white night preferred by the racists and who got a chance to work out for an NFL team while a underprivileged black quarterback named Kap, who couldn't complete passes in college OR the NFL, is inexplicably not employed or getting workouts, unless you count those jobs paying him tens of millions to consult on shoes as employment.

Kap's new career has shown great directing chops in his new "NFL Slave Auction" movie, an instant classic; where poor black slaves leave the block as millionaires

Timmy doesn’t have the experience to be a HC.

Bring in Spikes for LBs. (just make sure to pass out eye googles for all the opposing players)

Manuel for DC.(and hope he doesn't pass on the trait of having stone fingers)

STs - anyone who understands the importance of STs like Meyer did. (just not Vanez Gooch. Spurrier's last ditch effort in trying to justify his wasting a schollie on the guy was letting him cover kickoffs. Bowden got the last laugh on that one!)

Not to mention the awkwardness of wondering if he's going to be able to fit through it.

This is a very stupid idea but Hey even Tebow as HC couldn't be any worse than the dufus in control now.
