Why?A win tonight against B-C at 6:30 gives us 30 for the season and 12 wins over .500. We need to win all our remaining reg. season games.
Why?
Is this a perceived threshold to make tournament?Because I am a baseball fan and a Gator for 55 of my 75 years. I know we have had problems with coaches and that turns a lot of fans off, but my hope for the kids is to see (or listen) to them play and win more games this year. Simple!

Win the next 20 or so and it will be a successful season.Gators shut out BC 7-0 with a 5 hitter and 11 strikeouts for our pitchers. Gators now 7-1 in their last 8 games with an overall record of 30-18 now.
Another series DUB for this Gators team that was left for dead a month ago. They have responded by winning 9 of 11 games when they could have just easily tanked the rest of the season and players gear up for life after college. Kudos to our guys for not giving up like some fans have on the season. Chips and ships are the goal so hopefully they can come back stronger next season with new players and a new coach possibly since we don't have the team to make a deep run for anything.
The game against the tonite is a mid week game and will be treated as such just like all mid week games are treated, even more so b/c we start USCe series on Thursday. Not making excuses, but from pitching angle, Sully has never wavered just b/c it is the
You are correct! So, if we want to give someone a chance, I would like to see Jameson or Ficarrotta get a start but they may be needed for relief this weekend. I expect Milchin to start since he didn't pitch this last weekend; we will probably see a lot of pitchers tonite. I think it was Pogue who got blasted for 4 runs in the first nole game; he lasted one whole out.
Sully has been messing with batting order recently in mid-week games which is an about time thing!
