From Apopka come pick our pockets for 4* do smdh

Seems like Uga, Bama, Clemson, OSU, and others all come in here and get who they want. Can’t believe we’ll ever out recruit the likes of Uga, Bama , and other heavy weights with this staff.

Sammon wrote this today,

There is a possibility the Gators take three true cornerbacks for this cycle, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said on the condition of anonymity, but there are too many variables at this stage to be caught up in numbers. Safety remains a bigger concern than cornerback from a numbers standpoint; five of Florida’s seven safeties (counting Dean, who is often listed as a cornerback but will play nickel) will be gone in the next two years. It would not be surprising if Florida took six defensive backs in this class.

He also added,

Among the high-priority targets left at the position are four-star Ethan Pouncey (6-1) from Winter Park (Fla.) and four-star Jahari Rogers (6-0) from Arlington, Texas.
Does this mean we no longer like our chances at flipping Avantae Williams away from Oregon?

This kid from Apopka just flat out does not like UF from most accounts. Wouldn’t even give this staff the time of day. Sometimes it’s a staffs fault and others it’s just not.

True. I'm not sure what's going on in that area w/ Apopka and Weikiva kids not liking UF. UGA got the ILB Davis from Weikiva last year, and he and Carter are buddies. Davis didn't give us the time of day either. Clemson signed Davis' teammate, DT Tyler Davis - another 4-star. My nieces went to Apopka then Weikiva and the kids there are just like most high school's in the Orlando area - have a ton of UF and FSU 'fans'/students.

X. Henderson competed in the Nashville Opening camp and was a top performer:

Xzavier Henderson, WR, Miami (Fla.) Columbus - Henderson was originally slated to compete in the Miami Regional back in February, but was injured during a track meet. The Top 100 prospect more than made up for it though, making the trip north and turning in a strong showing. We were particularly impressed with his quickness and ability to create clean releases and separation off the line of scrimmage. Few, if any, receivers in attendance were able to eat up a cushion quicker than the 6-foot-4, 175-pounder. Henderson, whose Crystal Ball is split between Clemson (50%), Florida (25%) and Miami (12%) also had a strong showing on the testing front, recording a 4.55 second 40-yard dash, 4.38 shuttle and 37.2 inch vertical jump.

Robby Ashford was at the camp:

Four-star Robby Ashford flashed some elite ability at times but was also capable of some bad misses.

His 40 is just OK but I like his shuttle time.

Xzavier is now one of my fav first names.

I don’t doubt his cushion eating, but where’s the info on the angle of his back when he runs?
