Ok this is probably the wrong forum but Maurice Goolsby, the only WR that FSU signed for 2019 has elected to go to JuCo to play baseball. I thought he was way too slow to play WR and would have been better suited to play TE. He was, sad to say, a Gator commit some time back.

You can plug this under the FSU is in shambles thread!

I know we had three not make it in, and they're having a good time with it....so fair play here. I believe he was their only offensive skill player signed in their sh*tty class also.

Yep he was. They have 5 signees on offense, all OL.

Kirby can't gameday coach. He might very well get a ring but he will have to luck his way into it. He is recruiting like crazy so no wonder the recruitniks here love him. Boil him down, he aint an x and o guy nor has shown the propensity to make good decisions at critical times in a game.

He could be Richt+. The talent he recruits will get him into championship games year over year but then equally talented teams with good coaching will deny him.

But, once Saban retires, he should be able to get the SEC cuz Bama will regress a bit if they don’t get dabo and no one except LSU will have the raw talent on their squad like UGA. Of course, the tigers posterized him last year.

He is kinda like Richt, but Richt looks like a lazy POS compared to Kirby. Richt got content with no rings and 10-11 win seasons. I don't think Kirby is like that and will work harder and harder. We'll see if Kirby can learn from his mistakes and be able to make better gameday decisions and adjustments.

Bama is going to bama. Saban retiring isn't going to stop what they got. They have so much money backing that program I don't think it matters if they get Dabo or not. Saban built a process and I am sure it will be kept intact with the next guy.

Yep ... but Mack Brown didn't play an SEC schedule. Buut yeah ... Kirby could get lucky because he has the talent to cover his inadequacies.

Hate to break it to you but Clemson is going to be the new powerhouse to worry about for the next 5 years. If Bama wins 1, they will be lucky. You are also going to start seeing the Washingtons Oregons, USC and Texas make a resurgence.....2020 and beyond wont be SEC dominated playoffs anymore.

Not so sure about Fromm. I read somewhere (sorry, can't remember where) that some NFL scouts are not enamored with him. Can't remember all the specifics, but he was referred to as a game manager type who lacks ideal size and arm strength. On the other hand Kiper thinks he's a for sure 1st rounder.

I respectfully disagree…Saban is elite...I can't stand the guy but....

When you lose a Bear, an SOS, an Urban…You don’t just bounce back.

We saw Bama without Bear…Until Saban. Florida without SOS until Urban and then.....BUTTERS

I contend it takes both the Coach and the Facilities/Program. There are 4-5 great coaches and only 1-2 Elite Coaches every decade or so.
