He hasn't touched a football in three years. I know that isn't much by Kyle Trash standards, but I'm just raining reality. My favorite part of any potential good news on this site is finding out what angle donk found to **** all over it.
Slow down, Kid hasn't played a down
Chris Weinke says "hi"!He hasn't touched a football in three years. I know that isn't much by Kyle Trash standards, but I'm just raining reality.
Are you suggesting that Franks is a racist and simply cannot see Black people????Maybe Franks will actually be able to notice him in the middle of the field.
Exactly. He had 7 completions his first year and basically sat.Chris Weinke says "hi"!
This could very well be the case. My question would be how much of "just like riding a bike" conditioning applies to him. Its not like he went off and tried to sell cars for a living. He hasn't touched a football in three years. I know that isn't much by Kyle Trash standards, but I'm just raining reality.
Only because they had Thad Busby who was a very decent QB. Who do we have at TE that we will use instead?Exactly. He had 7 completions his first year and basically sat.
Dude, look, Aaron Hernandez didnt start as a freshman and was a weak blocker his first two years. Just slow the roll. Id like to see him habe a goal line jump ball package or something but expecting to start is beyond silly.Only because they had Thad Busby who was a very decent QB. Ben Troupe was no slouch.
Well we havent cracked the top 90 in offense since then and I think weve averaged about 105th in passing offense. No TE or WR has had more than a catch or two per game.He was before AH. I was trying to think of any TE worth a darn since AH.

Tate Casey is a better TE than anyone who has played on our rosterDude, look, Aaron Hernandez didnt start as a freshman and was a weak blocker his first two years. Just slow the roll. Id like to see him habe a goal line jump ball package or something but expecting to start is beyond silly.
This reminds me of people claiming our offensive problems were over once w signed Massey.
Then he better be a quick learner. BTW, the reason that Aaron Hernandez did not start his freshman year was Tate Casey, one of the better TE we have had. Plus Hernadez was more of a HB for us.Dude, look, Aaron Hernandez didnt start as a freshman and was a weak blocker his first two years. Just slow the roll. Jordan Reed? He moved over to TE and came on pretty strong. Not bad in the Pros either. He was before AH. I was trying to think of any TE worth a darn since AH.
On paper, our passing game looks pretty promising. Lots of big bodies that can win 50/50 balls in the air (Krull at 6’7, Grimes at 6’5, Pitts at 6’5, Jefferson and Cleveland at 6’2). If utilized correctly, these guys can really simplify the passing game for the quarterback, creating a bigger margin for error on a lot of throws (think fade passes in the red zone, seam routes down the middle, back shoulder passes, etc). Each of these have a large catch radius and Mullen thrives on exploiting mismatches. We should be able to dominate teams with smaller defenders.
And they can block well!! :D (just keeping w/ the theme that Law is trying to ram down out throats)
Seriously, agree w/ you. We have some big bodies at WR - and a few smaller, change-up guys. We are just left to wonder who will get them the ball. I think the OL will be greatly improved (which isn't saying much), and hopefully that's enough to give the QB time to make reads (unless it's Franks, as he's incapable of making reads). The WR/TE groups, along w/ the RBs will be a strength. Unfortunately, they need a QB and OL to excel.
