Good info/analysis, thanks. I'm glad we got this guy, 5* DL/OLB don't fall out of the sky everyday.
How do you know he was garbage? Do you even know what his role was, or what it will be under Mullen? You know he worked for us under Butters, right? And he has been garbage at both places.
Obviously, there's nothing donkey can't find fault with.I dont apologize for insisting that our football staff not be HS basketball coaches with zero football coaching experience.
Smoking weed and being pissed about it is so barbarian and only knuckle draggers care about that.
Wasn't Cox talking about transferring to UF before he actually put his name in the portal? Not saying there was skulduggery; perhaps UF was the school where he had the most friends and not too far from home. I can see where some could suspect some of his friends reached out before he was actually in the portal.Cox entered the portal. Some of our players who played with him in high school and knew him called him up....nothing illegal about it.
I'm not criticizing the hire as I really have no idea how CDM is going to utilize the guy. I could see where it could be a benefit, but also where it could be a head scratcher. The FSU top ten class is a lot of smoke and mirrors. They have three more commitments than UF and as has been the case recently, heavy on higher ranked players at the skill positions and lower ranked guys in the trenches.I wouldn't sit too high on our horse at the moment.....they have a top 10 class after that abysmal season compared to us around 12-13, gave him a raise and a promotion to poach him originally. Any help is good help right now!
So you dont realize, or know what herrons role will be?I dont apologize for insisting that our football staff not be HS basketball coaches with zero football coaching experience.
People like you make your generation look bad. There are different ways and strains to smoke weed these days without even getting high and the medical benefits are irrefutable. Anyone who still thinks it should be illegal or harsh laws attached to it are barbaric knuckle draggers. End of story. That's a ridiculous comment. If someone has hard feelings towards all people who drink and drive because someone killed their best friend, do you think them a knuckle dragger? Might their be some equally logical objection to stoners? The common sense lacking in ignorant comments like this is impressive. So glad you found the irrefutable argument for weed the world has been searching for. If you have a problem with it your stupid/narrow minded. People like you make my generation look bad.
On another note. I love the info you bring to the board. Keep it bro.

FTR, I don’t disagree with your pot stance but I can’t stand folks who are so closed minded that they won’t even take the time to consider an opposing view point. The unwillingness to listen to others and maybe even modify their views is one of the biggest issues in this country.
I don’t think that’s what @Alligatoridae was getting at. He took issue with you stating that any dissenters to smoking weed are barbaric. There’s nothing wrong with opposing responsible pot use, just like there’s nothing wrong with opposing responsible alcohol use. Doesn’t make any one “lesser” for their views.Cool, man. I didn’t care to begin with. My response was in context to not letting him come here or being mad about it because he got caught smoking weed once. If that upsets you so much, you have a prehistoric view point on marijuana. That’s a punishment not fitting the crime. Being upset if people are driving stoned off heir goard is one thing. That’s not what I was saying.
Obviously, you can have whatever opinion you want, but to mention smoking marijuana and then say the medical benefits are irrefutable is in incredibly misleading. Marijuana may prove one day to be widely used to treat a host of maladies, but currently there are only two FDA-approved medications that contain cannabinoid chemicals (the active chemicals in marijuana). Both of these are currently only available in pill form - and future medications are also likely to be in pill or edible form; some of our medical professionals may want share their opinion, but it is my understanding that smoking is a poor delivery vehicle for delivering medicine. Among US medical associations, it is currently a split verdict with some in favor as medicine, some opposed and some taking no position. Hardly what I would call settled science.People like you make your generation look bad. ....There are different ways and strains to smoke weed these days without even getting high and the medical benefits are irrefutable.....
Absolutely right. Don’t agree with the rule/law? Protest, write a letter, start a campaign, whatever. But don’t jeopardize your team’s potential because you just want to. As many here have pointed out, pot’s not addictive so smoking it when you’re not supposed to is selfish/stupid. If it was addictive, at least you could blame that...I’m guessing most college football players are not looking for the strains you are referring to. Just a hunch here, but I think they just wanna get high...
Which I wouldn’t give two sh!ts about. Except that it’s a banned substance by the NCAA. Whether one thinks it should be or not is not the point really. I’m sick of multiple players missing games because they’d rather get high and hope they don’t get caught. What ever happened to the “team first” mentality.?. Personally, I think it’s selfish of them to take the risk.... how “we” or “they” feel about whether they should be able to smoke pot really isn’t the point.

I mean I don’t disagree with this. Shouldn’t be hard to stop if it’s affecting a way larger issue. Different problem on hand if you’re willing to throw it all away to get high (ex: Antonio Calloway)I’m guessing most college football players are not looking for the strains you are referring to.
