Driveline trashing elbows.Florida Baseball: Hunter Barco out indefinitely with elbow injury
Looks like Barco could be OUT for the year now. He was by far our best pitcher and now he is OUT. How many games do you think we win the rest of the season? Looking like less than 8 wins the rest of the year. Sully definitely gone since he hasn't developed any pitching depth or prospects. I still think he has been looking to jump anyways.
You keep saying this but never share these "signs". Other than not liking losing what "accounts and signs" point to Sully wanting to leave?I think Sully is going to get some more younger guys in there and leave them in their to get experience pitching and sink or swim with them in there. Looks like he will get them to try and showcase their skills for the next coach or for other teams for the transfer portal. All accounts and signs lead to Sully moving on to another program like when he flirted with other teams the last few years.
I don’t buy it. He’s paid like top 5 money, has one of if not the nicest ballparks in the land, is in a state that has loads of talent, etc.I think Sully sees the writing on the wall and also sees the frustration from the fans who questions his baseball antics. He has taken the program as far as he can and after flirting with moving on to other programs the last few years(what bigger indication do you need? Lol), he seems poised to move on. You can tell by his demeanor in the dugout that he just knows they don't have the team to make any noise in the postseason. He has the same look that Mullen and MW had in that they already knew they were leaving. Time to come up with 3-5 names so we can jump start our coaching search and get a great coach before they are all gone.

I know too little about baseball to even critique it. Maybe Sully needs a sports psychiatrist with a minor in hypnotism.?
For many years I have liked the teams Sully brought us. I don't like the losing results Sully is producing now; however, he lacks the top-notched players. Why is that? Have we lost that UF luster that we had a few years back.? Can Sully do things to restore our gleam.? We can't just keep changing coaches everywhere. That's not a plan.
There does need to be a change in our batting attack. Would that be a coaching change.? And why all the HBPs.? It parallels the football Gators leading the SEC in penalties, we are leaders in HBPs.? We can't seem to get it corrected. It just keeps on coming.?? That process points to ineffective coaching. Definitely, some changes are needed. Personally, I need a better baseball team to watch.
Is there an excellent HC we can switch to.?
MLB draft rules are slightly complicated, I will attempt to clarify. Unlike football a HS Sr. can be drafted by MLB. The drafted player has 3 options to consider 1) take the slotted signing bonus and head to the low minor leagues for three to five years on busses in many stops or. 2) Sign to play at a CC and be eligible for MLB draft the following year, rinse repeat the next season, 3) go to a 4 year university and become ineligible for MLB draft for 3 seasons. Can a college baseball player sign with a minor league team after college.? Does that happen.? I'm thinking of UF college players realizing that they probably took the wrong route in their career by signing on with Sullivan.? He can't add to their career. I'd hate for UF to get a reputation as a dead-end school.
