Do you think that the ULL staff spent the majority of their time evaluating 4 & 5*s that they would never get or do you think they spent the majority of their time evaluating 3*s and below? Because Napier doesn't seem like the kind of guy that likes to waste time.
So yeah they've evaluated this 3* commit because that's all they've been evaluating. They need to set their sights higher.

I think Napier is gonna finally have some success at IMG. Those aren’t kids over there, they are professionals. They aren’t afraid of hard work and discipline: they demand it.

I think Napier’s gonna strike the right chord over there.

I hope your right cause that would be great.

So I know this isn't exactly recruiting, but I think it still appropriate given how much we used to bash Mullen for how dorky he would look in his pleated pants and Jordans.

Napier may not exactly be the coolest guy on the planet, but he actually pulls off a nice balance between being professional and at least somewhat "cool" to a younger crowd. Check out what he is wearing here. He has his sneakers, but they don't look forced, they are actually in line with his outfit (unlike how Mullen would rock them). He's rocking a sportscoat, but with jeans and an untucked shirt. And he actually is pulling it off and doesn't look like he is trying to force something like Mullen did. Does all this matter very much? Probably not, it's not like Saban is exactly "cool". But, I think Napier comes across much more genuine and relatable.

Anyways, just my $0.02.....

Interesting story to piggyback on your statement and I might have said this before but I go to church with a young man that was a Sr 2 years ago with Carson Beck. This was a kid who was also being recruited by smaller schools himself so anytime UF would come theyd speak with him as well and he was close with Carson. Anyway right after Beck went through the fake phase with UF I was talking to him and he was telling me anytime Mullen was around he genuinely seems like a fake person to him. Said he would mentioned his shoes when he was there. Moral of this story is like you said it seemed forced with Mullen and not real and that's how one recruit thought of him

Establishing the NIL office, staffing, and developing a long-term strategy is the most important thing that needs to happen early next year. Sell the Gator brand AND NIL support.

Try to get as many big uglies as possible between ESD and NSD.
