Recruiting at Florida should be the easy part of the job. You can drive to some of the most fertile recruiting territories in the nation in four hours or less. You should be stumped trying to figure out which kids won’t make the class. We basically dropped Dan in the red light distract in Amsterdam with a pile of cash and he still can’t figure out where to score.

Nolen isnt comsidering us. We are hat #5 on the table just hecause the extra color looks good.

I think we have a chance at Stewart, if he doesnt watch our games or look at the stat sheets for Mullinz receivers since 2005.

Not any more…was told to forget about Stewart anymore. MAYBE if he shows up for fsu game we might get a shot but as of now he gone

Hard to believe FSU AND Mizzo are above us in class ranking. We just take the leftovers.

Mullen is finishing off what Muschamp and McElwain started.

Was the Program put on double top secret probation in 2010? Are we paying some kind of football reparations? Is there forced busing of crappy recruits to UF ?

WTF?

We can't hire some underlings to get these guys onboard without Mullenz fuking it up? We know the top level is for sh@t; but why can't we get some guys who do nothing but recruiting, talk to the Moms & Dads - Jeez if you can't sell UF give it all up and bag groceries.

Oh, I have no doubt they’d mess that up too.

Mullen has run out of leash. At some point, it is exactly what it appears to be. Hardcore fans, casual fans, the writers.....everybody sees it.

Mullen has made his bed with things like the seniority/QB choice decisions, Grantham, arrogance, etc.

But this is also a prime example of why getting rid of him alone fixes next to nothing, and likely sheds some light on why he was the guy we had to settle for in the first place. There's nothing about those numbers that is a formula for success. Top down approach is so off target it's almost comical.

Many Coaches have lived and died by their choice of QB. Mullen is just so dang hardheaded about seniority its going to be his death bed . If AR hits the transfer portal Mullen will lose what little support he has left.

So what does the additional money spent by Georgia and Alabama go to? You can't give it to the recruits. Is it going to their moms and dads, LOL. Seriously though, is that for plane tickets to send coaches to players, do they buy their whole families plane tickets for visits, private limo's from the airport and we uber. It just seems like there'd be a limit to how much you could spend and actually get anything for it.

Recruiting staff, mostly. We have a handful of staffers (Begley and a few others) while UGA, Ohio State, Alabama, and a few other programs have dozens of staffers dedicated strictly to recruiting. We could add 5 staffers for under $500k (w/ a $60-80k salary, plus benefits, which is a decent living in Gainesville for, likely, a young person). Some of the money is travel expenses, but I'm not sure these other schools are spending $1 million+ on just travel expenses.

We offered this kid, he's a DL at West Orange HS (teammate w/ WR commit Jayden Gibson), he's ranked outside of the top 1200. Meanwhile, UGA landed a 5-star DT last week:
