Thanks for the info!He went 5 innings in their game 1 against OR. He threw 87 pitches and gave up 1 run. The game was last Friday so he is going on short rest plus this is game 4 for them.
Too bad Sully doesn't understand the meaning of a short leash...game is critical so we don't have to play TCU twice; our pitching will be tested (I know, Captain Obvious)...Go Gators...I would prefer not
This guy is their number one starter. This being win or go home they will pitcheveryone if necessaryI'd be interested to know if those are weekend starts or midweek patsy starts.
My worry with cags is he hasn't pitched since the regional, 17 days ago.
We may need 6-7 runs today.
Yeah, we need to get his pitch count up. He threw 87 pitches in 5 innings last Friday. This guy is their number one starter. This being win or go home they will pitcheveryone if necessary
Sure hope they practiced line drives and pop ups.Gator Line Up:
#4 Kurland 2B
#36 Langford CF
#14 Caglianone P
#24 Rivera SS
#15 Riopelle C
#28 Heyman 1B
#6 Shelnut LF
#2 Evans RF
#5 Halter 3B
Guess the staff is okay with the defensive abilities of that outfield lineup. I understand trying to get more offense, but if the wind is blowing in like it was in yeasterday's games, I would much prefer Robertson over Shelnut. Just hope we can avoid another Bad News Bears moment in the outfield.Gator Line Up:
