Gators now trail 7-4 as Neely turned into his typical nibbling self instead of just throwing the ball over the plate, he tried to paint the black or be perfect on every pitch. 2 singles and 3 walks later he is done. Terrible outing against a sub par lineup.

"Mad" Hatters win 7-4. Two horrendously pitched innings filled with free passes did in the Gators. Credit the "Mad" Hatters pitchers who just threw strikes for the most part and let the chips fall where they may. Poor night offensively for the Gators.

It is early and lots will change, but we will need an improvement in the arm quality of the bullpen to be a serious contender. But that could happen with so many frosh.

Speaking of arms, Jameson getting the start against BC. He promptly walked the leadoff hitter before getting out of the 1st with a 26 pitch inning. Will probably see lots of arms tonight.

Gators quickly up 4-0. Shelton 3 run HR off a pitcher tossing softballs. We need to use every one of our bullpen guys tonight to see if we can get lucky and find a diamond in the rough.

2 2/3 innings for Jameson. 61 pitches. If he cannot throw his off speed stuff for strikes he has no chance. He just is not good.

After getting a called strike three that was 6 inches off the plate that would have been ball 4, then a flyout, Sausage could not stand prosperity and hit the next guy for the 8th free pass of the night so far. But got out of inning. Still 6-0

It is very early into the season, but it has a resemblance to the how the 21 team looked as the season went along.

Cags 3 run HR in bottom of 8th to make it 9-2. Should be able to close this one out against a HBCU team given that Sausage is no longer available,
