What in the cinnamon toast fck difference does it make? Is it somehow less cool to win bc you out talented vs out playcalled someone? Dominant winning is dominant winning.
Not at all and please point out where I said it was.

All the Dwag and Bangz cawksuckin around here is nauseating.

Let me go a step further…there are innovators who get a jump on the opposition and have success, but after what they are doing successfully schematically has been put on tape and / or they hit the post-season clinic tours and speak on facets of their programs, often their innovations aren’t quite as successfully simple on the merit of the playbook. The consistent winners. As the old coaching axiom says, understand that “it’s not about the X’avian and O’s, it’s about the Jimmy’s and the Joe’s” and they work like hell to get the best players they can to develop and run their system at a high level. Saban is a great coach, but I’ve heard him speak and he is quick to tell you that it’s no big secret…get the best players and a bunch of them and winning is a lot easier.

The last time I saw Kirby was in 2018 at the GHSA State Championsips in Atl. His Alma mater was playing and he had a couple of kids on participating teams he wanted to wish good luck. He stopped and spoke to a couple of us old timers and then quickly departed for the airport to go make a home visit down in Miami. The guy, whatever else you may think of him, is a tireless recruiter and has obviously started figuring out how to make the portal work for him. Until we get someone with similar drive and vision, we will struggle to be mediocre, much less elite.
Right. I don’t think anyone has ever questioned his ability to recruit, putting together top classes undoubtedly helped the guy win championships.

I don’t think anyone on this board would take him over Saban or Urban, but they’d easily take him over Slingblade.

Diddo.

Beatlebangs came into a place that had talent stacked with top 10 classes and a decade of consistent 9+ win seasons.

They suck and he sucks.

Even Slingblade could win there.

Ox told be to say that last part.

No, not Saban or Urban for sure. One thing he has picked up on pretty quickly is that he lets his OC do the offensive thing. He provides defensive oversight, understandable as that is his wheelhouse. I’ve thought several times how Billy could have improved his lot, at least a little, with a competent OC.

And by the way, even though I’ve known Kirby since he was in high school, I don’t have a problem with his successes unless they are manifested against us. In fact, the mark of a championship caliber team is the ability to not only matchup with other championship caliber teams, but to also beat them. We’re falling short of that lately and it might not be a bad idea to copy some of the things the top programs are doing beyond hiring an army of analysts and ineffective assistants who have fallen woefully short overall in player / position / team development. And so far, an upswing in culture hasn’t translated into wins.

I also enjoy how we lose our best player bc he wants to be better developed for the next level and all of a sudden he sucks.

We love trashing our kids when they agree with us about the staff and want to move on. Any one of us would move on from tater in an instant if we could but we trash the few who can.

Our anger needs to be pointed at tater tard, not etn.
I actually don't blame tater. In fact, any one of us would take the opportunity he was given if offered to us.

I blame Stricklin. He gots ta go

hopefully a target

if Lagway is still "locked in" then he'd be smart to be chatting with this dude NOW and get him amped about considering UF. I'm curious if Lagway spoke with ETN or any of these dudes that are jumping in the portal.

No to Part 1 - even someone moderately challenged intellectually would have figured out post-Arkansas at least that this shti ain’t working and I need to not only autopsy my program but probably have a complete physical and psychological assay done on myself as well. Admitting something isn’t clicking and that he needs to implement dramatic and sweeping changes isn’t unhealthy nor a sign of weakness. On the other hand, continuing to do the same things over and over again are. They also indicate possible insanity.

Part 2 - Abso-f’n-lutely!

My point is, any one of us would take a high paying job if offered to us. I don't fault tater for that taking a job he's unqualified for.

I fault the guy that hired him.

Gotcha, but most of us are self-aware enough to know that unless we not only have a pretty extensive coaching pedigree and maybe more importantly the connection to assemble a competent and effective staff, we really wouldn’t have the chance, even though it’s hilarious to think Strichnine is a big enough buffoon to to go for the outlier. And for the record, I’d support you if that scenario were to happen (if box seats were to come my way  )!

People were speculating that maybe you were on drugs. But it's pretty clear that you have a traumatic brain injury.

Well, we’ve already witnessed the first half of the scenario happen when Miami played Georgia Tech this year. We’ve also seen enough stupidity the past two years from Sun Belt Billy, that while not exactly like what I outlined, is close enough to believe he’s capable of such moronic stupidity.

Because of this, it’s me that’s left to wonder about your mental facilities as you doubt that Billy could exhibit such buffoonery.

Well, good luck and just know that if that 7 mil offer comes from the porn industry, midget or any other genre, I won’t hold you to the box seats
Who you kidding...you gonna be the one filming it
