That's sad if true. Kid is a highlight reel and we don't play him because he tries to make things happen?
Another benefit of recruiting well at a position. Wish we did it at every position. With all our great runners, they have to give it 100% or they might not get back in ;)
Ya think? Even if it is true, only ten months to figure this out?Toney is one and it’s starting to look like dan and the boys are now willing to play this wild card more often.
Dan said postgame that Toney does a lot of freelancing and rarely runs plays the way they’re practiced so the staff has been slow to trust him. I think they trust him now.
528 total yards against the great Chump D.
They were great runs....Watching Scarlett road-pave those Gamecock defenders on two consecutive runs up the gut brought back images of Jim Brown in the 60's. Thanx for the memories, Jordan.
They were great runs....
but Jim Brown?

Scarlett's runs were more reminiscent of Payton than Brown. Brown was more physically imposing, Payton the indomitable spirit, his lower body always driving forward.
And, no, I don't think Jordan Scarlett is the next Walter Payton. He just had a few runs that really stood out for effort.
Jim Brown? Probably the best RB in history?Down boy... He said “images,” not “talent.” And he DID truck a few players yesterday.
