According to UGA fans the kid committed to UGA in the womb. However, now that :kiffin: is gone maybe we get a at least sideway glance from him.

Is the kid going to be an early enrollee? We really need someone who can be here for spring camp.

I am kind of concerned that even flirting with another QB could force Trask to look elsewhere to like El Paso Christian or Maricopa Community College. I also read that he holds two other offers from Houston Baptist and Lamar. We just can't risk losing Trask, or as I prefer to call him, The Future.

Does anybody else smell sarcasm? Cuz I smell sarcasm. Treon can hold court until Eason is ready.

I hear Treon gets a 6th year of eligibility because reasons. So we are set at QB for two years. Trask will be ready to go by then.

The kid is a bonafied gunslinger. Rumor is he threw 3 beautiful passes last Friday as his highschool teame just barely squeaked by in a 73 point victory.

Are you sure? Crete disapproved Jake McGee's 6th year. I can't imagine he will stand for a 6th year for Treon.

Ahhh. I was using 'Crete's commutative property of medical redshirts but I might have applied it wrong.

Well, there is also the " feel free to take a second redshirt if you get banned for a year" rule that might also be applicable if we make a few false positive viagra tests.

There is a lot of smoke on this one. All my GA friends are freaking out. Supposedly his daddy is making the rounds talking to Florida, Bama, ND, and Michigan. Michigan is who they like most, but they already have a QB ranked high for this cycle. They are also saying him and that #1 TE may be a package deal and it's GA treading water for them, Michigan next, and us close behind.

From what I have seen this is only happening if Richt is fired and I don't see that happening. Richt has to have a couple of bad seasons. The only possibility of Richt getting fired is if Georgia really craps the bed from here on out.

Other than getting this kid at QB... does anybody really want to see Richt get fired? I don't. I'd hate for UGA to get an actual coach.
It's a real possibility. One of the level headed dawg fans I know is starting to change directions on Richt. I've laughed at him for years. He is now starting to laugh too.

Long way from signing day. You gotta think with the wr class and a chance to compete for the starting job would give us the edge over Michigan. Anyhow, thanks for the info.

Sure would be awesome if Mac could somehow pull this off and grab a two-fer.

"Eason is likely to come as a package-deal with the nation's #1 TE, 5-star Isaac Nauta. Nauta has long been considered leaning to Georgia, but would likely look around more if Richt was no longer the coach. Nauta and Eason have spoken multiple times in the past few days, and have Michigan as ther mutual #1, with Florida a close second."

Don't these #1 all-high school guys typically fizzle out in college, especially at QB? Or is that just when they're coached by Macgruber?
