How can you not like this kid?
You visited Florida a few weeks ago for the LSU game. What was that experience like for you?
Ivey: I’ve been to Florida so much it was nice to finally get to see a night game. It was great to see that and to see how hard they fought and how they have come together as a team, especially with the o-line, they have been rebuilding from last year.
Does Will Muschamp’s job being in limbo play a factor in your decision?
Ivey: Not really. I still have Florida high on my list, but I’m not really affected by any coaching changes at all.
Has Muschamp talked to you about his situation?
Ivey: No, not really and I haven’t really asked about it because it’s not going to affect my decision at all.
When you make your final choice, what will be the main factors in determining where you will commit?
Ivey: I just want to make sure it’s the right choice. Can I picture myself being at that school for four years? Just being comfortable at the school I choose. At the end of the day it's not always about football and winning and losing, it’s about being comfortable.
Will early playing time be a factor?
Ivey: It really don’t matter about early playing time. Either way you are going to have to fight for a spot. It’s all about working hard. I really don’t listen to the coaches who say, "If you come here you’ll play early." That’s not really guaranteed. You’ll still have to come in and work for it.
