So you thought about defending your wife's honor and kick this short guys ass but then seen the size of his calf muscles and backed off? Probably the right move, plus you was in an airport.GatorJ;n230756 said:Travis McGriff used to aggravate my wife by pulling her hair in 6th grade English class. I saw him at the airport about a decade ago. Pretty short. But his calves were massive.

I can think of one who lost the super bowl last year that had a good kick returner the year before when they won it all. ;) Who the hell are the raiders to cut him after drafting him 4 weeks ago? That is nuts. Let him rehab his injury then they may have something. Oakland won't be good for years so what was the rush?

Sometimes they do injury settlements but his would likely be near a season's full rookie pay if his injury is pretty serious. I think that is what I read somewhere happens if its an injury that would have sidelined someone for most of the season to rehab. But I also remember something about lower picks sometimes getting half of their pay if placed on injured reserve in their first couple of seasons. Not sure if they can go below the league minimum or not or if that might be a standard contract item in rookie contracts to get half pay when on IR the whole season.
No it said something about like that in an article I read a couple of years ago. The only thing I couldn't remember was if the lower round pick only got reduced if he was above the min. salary already or if that 50% cut usually in the contract applied to all of them even at min. salary.LagoonGator68;n231556 said:So, you're telling us you basically have no clue?
