You know, I probabky wouldnt mind if we had a huge staff. you could stuff it full of some up and comers. if you only have two or three dudes though you can't have three little leaguers. these guys do most of the grunt work and you have to trust them. they're going to cut film at least make reports recommend thumbs up or thumbs down on most of these guys. the assistant coaches are only going to see their work product they're not going to see all the game film on these players. you have to be able to trust the work that's coming out of your quality staff for both game prep and recruiting. we're stuck in the 80s thinking that our staff should be nine people and we should have a ga's and that's it. there's a reason bammer and other large staff teams always looks like they know what's coming just from our formation and down and distance... it is because they do.
