Exactly. You get gold and elixir by raiding. So raid, over and over again. The whole point of the game is to beat up on people weaker than you. Be a bully.

Yeah, I noticed they were all basically survey click baits. I wasn't hoping for cheats, just good strategy to get gems.

I haven't found that to be true yet...

I think I spent about $40 on the game total over 14 months....and all of that was in the first six months. The entertainment value has far exceeded the 40 bucks.

The only money I spent in game ($20) was with $10 itunes cards that I redeemed through an app that "pays" people to try out other apps. It was a tedious process, but it worked. Most apps you can just download, open, then delete to get credit for it. I cant remember what the app was called. I was able to get my 5th builder and still have 1200 gems left over.
