I'm going to the Sunday afternoon game against the Canes. It will be my first UF baseball game ever, and I think only my third baseball game ever (Marlins once, Rays once).

Living in ATL during the 80's you could literally fire both barrels in the old Atlanta Fulton County stadium with no fear of hitting anyone. They gave tickets away. Then along came the 90's and the Braves were on fire on the arms of the Young Guns. My boss somehow got 3 tickets behind the plate to game 7 of the 92 NLCS against the Pirates and we got to see the worlds slowest white man, Sid Bream being waved around third in the bottom of the ninth to send them back to the World Series. Most exciting baseball game I have ever witnessed.

This has nothing to do with the original thread subject, but Phin's post reminded me that I haven't been to a baseball game in a long time.

Gymnastics also destroyed Missouri last night. Highest scoring performance of any NCAA team this year.

I'm going the Daytona 500 Sunday. It's still early in the season, I'll be going to quite a few after this coming weekend. Ah, baseball what a wonderful game. Lets play two.

UF fans should be focussing on baseball sooner this year.

The baseball game was cool. I got to watch the game-winning HR fly right by me while standing at the railing on the Dizney Plaza deck. The kids had a good time. I represented GCMB...

We're 6-1 now. Game tonight - radio only. In 7 games Jr. OF Harrison Bader has 4 HR, 15 RBI, Slug% over 1,000.
FR Catcher Schwartz has 3 HR, 9 RBIs in 7 games. We seem to have a couple of sluggers. Interesting.

Catcher was one position I was unsure of going into the season, but we seem to have a couple of Freshman studs who can handle the job behind the plate. Fantastic!

Schwartz was 2-4, a walk, and 3 RBIs last night. I think we've got ourselves a catcher.
