Well it's getting close to pool season so I decided to have my Handyman pressure wash and seal the pool deck this week. I just didn't have the time and plus being injured I figured I would just pay him and his 2 Hombres $ 150 take care of this for me. He kinda looked at me funny and uttered something in Spanish to his 2 buddies......Figuring they weren't happy with my price I quickly said OK $200, but since you've already got the pressure washer you have to do the whole house while you're here .....Anyway when I came back later they were packing up and leaving. I took a look at the pool deck and it seemed OK(it was still wet).
Problem is that over the last 2 days I've noticed that the deck looks very dry already and the darker stones usually turn almost Black and the rest of the deck has a very glossy finish to it when done properly....I'm just wondering if anyone knows the best kind of sealer and best way to apply it. I have a 4 gallon back pack sprayer and can use that to apply another coat before we get any rain next week or should I use a roller or maybe a sponge mop to apply?
