Great job by the Patriots.

No one wants to be the guy following the guy. They get a young guy, person of color, willing to do it.

The Patriots will get to top 5 draft picks in the next 2 years and they'll have time to search for a new coach.

Makes more sense to me that if you don't see color you 'cannot' be racist. His quote sounds like someone on guard. I would have otherwise not been concerned that the Patriots hired a black HC. I would presume the organization wants to win and they decided this man could do the job, but whatever.
