Wasn’t it Bostic that lit up Bridgewater in the Sugar Bowl? Even though it didn’t phase Teddy.
I don't consider it a super dirty hit. That was a VERY fast slide. If you freeze frame it dalton was running at full speed and was only maybe 2 yards from bostic when he started the slide. You can freeze frame this youtube video 6 seconds in as he starts to slide and if you play it again and quickly freeze frame it right after he was hit it still hasn't made it to the 7th second of the video. Dalton has some responsibility to slide a little sooner and protect himself. If you are going to slide you don't get to decide you are going to try to get every inch out of it and slide at the last second before the defender lowers his head, IMO. I think it's a penalty but honestly I think bostic hit him maybe half a second at most after the slide started and it's not as dirty as it first appears.
he had time to pull up. if it was his qb in practice, he would have pulled up. he will get fined A LOT.
Honestly, if the owners don’t want their QBs hit then put them in non-contact jerseys and don’t allow them to run the ball. These puzzy rules are literally impossible for a defender to operate within.
Football used to be a man's game. Then Feminism happened.
That’s really the issue here. He went low and led with his shoulder, so it’s hard to say it’s truly dirty. It’s just outside the current rules, which he knows, meaning there will be a hefty fine. Other than that, I wasn’t watching, how did the game go for Dallas?
It was the Cowboys; does anyone really care?
When you’re in first place, it’s hard to keep up with the little nuances of the rest of the division. So no.
Not dirty at all. If the QB can’t get hit they need to start wearing skirts . These rules are such an advantage for the offense it’s ridiculous. I saw a rougher the passer penalty on a 3rd down sack. Now Qb running the football can’t get jacked up either . Hopefully the redhead boy learned his lesson .
Can’t believe he’s still in the league tbh
I get the rules. When you’re paying one player $35m a year you want him to be able to play the whole season. That said, either you want to see defense or you don’t. Quit with all of these puzzy rules that are negating defensive plays that should be celebrated...not penalized.
I hate to tell you dildos but that hit was illegal 20 years ago too. hell it was illegal 40 years ago. it's been an illegal hit as long as I remember.
No, it wasn’t. You’re dumber than a box of rocks. Nothing was illegal with that.
Probably the best thing that could happen to Dallas at this point , now they can go find a good QB , maybe get in the race for the Kid from Clemson.
They need Jeff Dipshyt to seal the deal. Maybe Broncos will cough him up to avoid paying a mil foe a 3rd string QB.
Heres a prediction they wait and bring in the best damn QB to come out of Texas in years They draft Trask
Who is his other contender? Colt McCoy?
Mahomes or Brees..........................now that is funny
There was a fat kid that went to uga, but never accomplished much as I recall. Last time I saw him he was being stiff armed by Terron Sanders.
