Fuchs was on notice of these issues too. He fostered this complacency, as he has with the football program. This should be coming together as a perfect storm of embarrassment to have the board of directors (not of the UAA, but the school) take action and send clear messages on all fronts. Once you fire Fuchs, the UAA must act against Stricklin.

Would you take firing Fuchs and Stricklin (perhaps a more full UAA house cleaning) for one more Mullen year to allow the new AD to make the hire. I would. It would also allows the new person to demonstrate a commitment level equal to what is required to win.
It's Board of Trustees, and my daughter says that Hosseini et al will be present for the FSU game. And the Trustees have any final say on a coach, not UAA.

Well if this Hussein guy and his cronies have not had a say yet, me thinks they might not be so swift when it comes to football?

Well, Saddam used to attach electric cables to the testicles of national soccer players and zap them tortuously after losing a game(think it was Qusay’s job if I recall correctly).

Maybe if this Hosseini has a little of that commitment-to-win mindset in him, we’ll be alright.

As long as Foley is booted off campus permanently along with Stricklin.
